I'm still in the stage of overcoming AA. Sometimes I'm really on, and sometimes I just can't get myself to do it. This field report actually covers a few nights.

I met up with a friend, and we went to chill at a cool dive bar near his apartment. There was a group of 3 girls one of them was a solid HB8. For some reason I couldn't get up the courage to approach. I find it very difficult when there's 3 or more, and my friends are never any help.

I made up for it ay the next bar though. I approached an HB7 by talking about her earrings, which turned out to be hand crafted and she was extremely proud of them. I think I made her night. I asked her if she thought I'd look good in them, and we laughed about it.

Next I approached a group of 2 girls at a table. An HB5 and an HB7. My friend acted as a wing for this one. I told them we can't decide whether my friend should grow a beard or not. They both gave strong opinions, and then I made sure to transition the conversation to something different. After a few minutes some more of their friends joined the group, and we were pretty much in at that point.

Later on I approached an HB8 who was with another girl and that girls boyfriend. She seemed like a third wheel. The other 2 kept dancing, and she was sitting by herself. I told her she was an excellent dancer, and she laughed about it. We then transitioned to other stuff.

My main problem now is being consistent in my approaches. Sometimes I have it in me, and other times I cant think of anything to say, and become a real AFC. Also I haven't number closed yet, and I know I could've several times, but for some reason pussied out.

Anyway, it's fun to write these field reports and it keeps me thinking about my game. I'm gonna keep trying to improve.
