A lot of people are underestimating their value.
You think you have to be this, be that, have everything perfect.
The reality is if you can speak your native language, be calm, be kind, and put a smile on someone's face, you just made their life better. Be grateful you have the ability to do that.
You just acknowledging someone and giving them kind words can make a lot of difference for them and their day.
Seeing yourself have small social interactions from a value giving frame, not only makes the other person's day better, but makes you feel better about yourself as well.
As you gradually see the value you have to give in these small social interactions, your confidence and good feelings about yourself grows and you feel more entitled, capable and ready to have a full out conversation with someone.
Try this on a night out or if you go out in the day time.
Realize that every time you acknowledge someone by talking to them, you're making their life better. Everyone likes to be noticed.
