Heard about a swing dancing event in a town I was in for work. Decided to get cleaned up and check out the scene. Got there at about 8:00 p.m.

As soon as I put on my dancing shoes I was approached by a cute redhead asking me to dance. I obliged and began showing off, she wasn't a great dancer and accidentally hit me in the face and the groin, but I used her embarrassment to flirt with her.

After the crowd saw that I was an experienced dancer I had someone coming up to ask me to dance just about every song. A few songs later I managed to snag a break and chat up some of the cute girls I had danced with. At this point I'm starting to figure out who's who and who's with who. Things are going well with this brunette I was talking with. After escalating Kino off the dance floor a slow song comes on which gives me a chance to escalate on the floor.

We start dancing and I'm showing off, making eyecontact, and being flirtatious. At the end of the song I did a big finish dip. Right as I got her dipped I heard a "POP" and felt "RRRRRIIIIIIPP".

In the immortal words of Spongebob, "I ripped my pants."

They were new jeans from Walmart, they fit a little tight, but figured they just needed breaking in.

I managed to get to the outskirts of the floor and find a seat without anyone noticing, fortunately I was wearing running shorts underneath. God forbid I had had on my Penguin boxers. XD

I sat there for a few songs, planning my escape and the redhead from the beginning of the night came up to ask me to dance again. I figured I would make the best of the situation and tell her what had happened hoping to get a few laughs out of it and see if she could help me out. At this point I was calling the night a bust. We laughed and she giggled at the hilarity of the situation for a few minutes and she helped me escape the building. As soon as we get outside she asked for my number.

We spent the rest of the night texting and flirting and have a netflix movie date already scheduled.

  2. Don't buy poorly made clothing.
  3. Make the best of every shitty situation.
  4. Have the confidence to laugh at yourself.
