I was prescribed medication recently and had taken some earlier in the day before a date. I noticed it sometimes affected my libido but not always. I never took it before having sex. I stupidly took it before the date thinking we wouldn't be messing around like that. Was our second date and we'd been clicking so well. We had planned to go out for a few hours as she had plans later at night. She ended up cancelling her other plans and we ended up back at her place. We end up messing around and start having sex, I pull out for a sec and my dick just dies on me. She was visibly disappointed. I told her I was on medication that affects my dick and I never expected us to mess around and I apologized. I also texted a friend that had taken that med before and he said I should be back to normal in several hours which gave me hope to redeem myself.

It took second but we got comfortable again and decided to go out for some drinks. The night was great or so I thought. Getting to the end of the night, we're both pretty drunk she sadly says, " I don't know if we're going to see each other again". I asked why and said she just didn't think we would. I said I would like to but I understand and if she changed her mind to let me know. Although it crushed me I acted okay with it and kept having a good time with her. We head back to her place and spent the night with her. In the morning, we're cuddling and talking and it leads to us having sex and I'm performing good but then I pull out and dick dies on me again!!!! She tried her best but It just wouldn't work. I apologized and she said it's just not meant to be. We just cuddled talked the rest of the morning. She told me she felt a connection with me among other affectionate words. We were really lovey-dovey with each other when not in that awkward failed sex moment. I asked her if she would like to hang out later this week and said yes. But I think of the saying, a drunk mind speaks a sober heart. Do you think she was letting me off easy? How badly do you think my performance issues affected my chances with her? Is there any ways to come back from this? Do you guys think this is a story she will be sharing with friends? She said she would text me later today, if she doesn't should I just give up and move on? What could I have done differently?

This is the most embarrassing emasculating thing that I've ever experienced. I felt like I had a clit for a dick. It was so freaking bad and I just been cringing all fucking day. I think the worst thing is losing my opportunity with her, she's amazing. I been dating a lot for some time and she was just everything I been looking for. I'm off this med because it caused way more mental health/self-esteem issues compared to what it helps me with. I feel so small and powerless right now.
