So yesterday I got told by a cringey tinder date that I was “staring at her” during our conversation.

I typically always look people in the eyes and don’t break contact unless something else catches my attention (I brink of course and don’t look android like)

This is the first time I’ve been told this. She was kind of awkward and kept looking down at the ground. So I’m not sure if it was more of an uncomfortable/intimidation thing or what.

Countless other dates/social interactions I always embrace awkward silence and continue eye contact while smiling.

Maybe I do come off as weird and people just haven’t had the nerve to tell me or maybe she is just weird/shy.
