Now I'm not saying that I'm always the nice guy who doesn't make a move and who is constantly friend zoned.

Over the years, I've noticed that almost every time I've fallen for a girl (and especially the ones I've fallen for hardest) it's not in the initial deciding window period. It's usually after we've been friends for a while and gotten to know each other. In the outset I often don't see them in a sexual/romantic way and do honestly just want to be friends. It's either that or we meet and I'm already with someone and/or she's with someone so we become friends etc.

Why does this keep happening? I don't think of them romantically in the outset and it's not until we get to know each other as friends for a while that strong feelings start coming up. But by that point I have obviously missed the window and can't undo things. Even spending time (weeks, months, maybe a year+) away doesn't change things enough to where there's a new window of opportunity.

Hahahaha why the hell does seduction have to be so illogical? You'd think being friends first, getting to know each other, and getting closer would build stronger feelings on both sides and make sexualizing things way easier.
