Hey Seddit,

Been giving OKCupid a shot to meet some women in my area to build up my approach anxiety and overall game with women. Not really looking to get too serious anytime soon, as I feel the main thing I need to be focusing on now is myself and my efforts to not get caught up with women as I have in my past which has been detrimental to my growth as an individual. I've had a habit of getting too comfortable too quickly when it comes to women and this has always severely impacted me in a negative way inmy past. Long story short, I've been getting messaged by women whom I don't believe I can see myself dating but I'm finding it a challenge to convince myself that I'm a good person all the while rejecting their advances.
I'm relatively new when it comes to giving it a get go and to grow in my life when it comes to new romances and I hope to become a better person for it in the long run, as I've noticed a tactic you guys preach here is 'leave a woman in better condition than how you found her' or something rather close to that meaning. Just want to get in the habit of standing up for myself without feeling bad about myself at the same time for how it may impact the person opposite to me. Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Seddit!
