TLDR In the club. Eye contact with cute girl. We danced, then I bought us drinks. Instant connect, great conversation, making out, kino and light escalation. She goes to the bathroom, telling me she would be back in 10 mins. 20 minutes later she comes out crying. She was raped in the bathroom. My question is what would you guys do? We had a great connection, and I really want to see her again, but I know I have to be very careful, and I am sure she is traumatized.

I was out with my friends for a St. Patty's day parade. We were drinking and having a great time. We somehow ended up at a club. I'm not much of a dancer, but I was drunk enough to have a good time.

This girl randomly says something to another girl in my group. So I ask if they know each other. They had never met, but all of the sudden I start dancing with this girl. We are grinding, and kissing, and making out.

I tell her to come to the bar with me and I buy us drinks. I have NEVER bought a girl a drink unless I was on a date with them because I refuse to use money to get a girl's attention. But I liked this girl, so I went for it. We talked for over an hour. We had such a strong connection, we were talking like we had known each other for years. We were making out randomly throughout the conversation. Her hands were all over me, under my shirt.

She then tells me that she has to go to the bathroom and it will be about 10 mins due to the long line. 15 minutes go by, and I haven't seen her. I start thinking that she ghosted me, so I go find her friends, and they are all still there. After 20 minutes, she comes out and she comes straight to me, not her friends. She's crying and she tells me what happened.

We were both drunk and things were extremely emotional, so we did not try to find the guy in the club. I was just trying to stay strong, consul this poor girl, and try to help her. She did not want to report the rape, but I was not having it. She went to the hospital for a rape kit, and I was left alone, downtown and drunk. At this point, I no longer have to be strong, I start crying.

I went back to the club and told the bouncers what had happened. I then reported the rape to the police with the limited info that I had. I only knew her first name, hair color, and a rough estimate of her height. The police were able to find which hospital she was at and continued to gain information from her.

Through all of this commotion, I managed to get her number. Not because I was trying to "run game" but at this point I was truly just concerned about her well being.

We have exchanged about 3 texts since this happened last night. Highlights include: "I can't thank you enough for reporting this" "The world needs more people like you. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it" and "I would like to talk to you. It will not be tonight, but hopefully I won't be as sick tomorrow and I'll call"

I just want her to be ok, but our connection was so strong, I really want to see if I can meet her again some day. She was really into me last night, and I hope someday that we can pick this back up.

Edit: she called me today. We talked for over 30 minutes. Very fun and energetic conversation. We are going out for coffee in a couple days.
