Preface: I haven't really gone out that much recently due to Xmas and work. Initially I had no NYE plans. NYE in Vegas is actually kind of.... difficult. It's fucking lit but it doesn't make sense financially. Pretty much all the top clubs are charging $300 for entry and there isn't even a guestlist option. For me, it makes no fucking sense to pay $300 to go to a club that I go to for free any other night. So NYE day came and I hit up my cousin and she said she's going to Hakkasan because her friend has a table. Im sold.

As for my game, I really feel like I've plateaued. I'm finding success and pulls but I don't think I'm really improving that much. I don't watch videos on game anymore. I don't actively try to learn pickup anymore. I'm still motivated to do game but just not to gain more knowledge. It's likely because I've found success as an intermediate and I'm becoming more comfortable and complacent.

Set:

I opened a several sets without anything substantial. There was this extremely gorgeous french girl that I talked to for a bit. I got her WhatsApp but her friend pulled her away. I probably should have done group management better. Anyways, my cousin go into the club and I met her and her friends at their table. At this point, it's like 20 minutes from midnight and in my mind I was like wtf I need to find a girl for the classic NYE kiss.

I went into the dance floor of the hiphop room. I approached these 2 hispanic girls. I immediately went for the skinny and pretty one. I did my usual routine of cold reads and statements. Then 3 minutes into the set the DJ started the countdown. At this point, she put her arms around my back/waist and I did the same to her as we're counting down 10 9 8 you get the point. During this countdown, I was like oh hell yeah it's fucking on. She physically escalated on me so I know where this is going. HAPPY NEW YEARS and boom make out.

After we made out, we danced for like 5 minutes. Then the 2 guys these girls were with (they all came together) told them to go to the bar. All 4 of them walked towards the bar and at this point, I'm like "eh idc to keep pursuing this set, I rather go back to the table and do table game." So I basically just exited the set because partly I didn't want to be a follower/chase her and partly because I wanted to keep exploring my options since it was only midnight.

I went back to the table and tried to open some sets but ultimately couldn't find anything. So I went back to the hiphop room and I bump into the hispanic girl again. I reapproached and we just started chatting. I can't remember about what. We were all just standing near the bar chatting and I'm like this is dumb but I didn't want to invite her whole ass group to my cousins table. Then all of a sudden, God himself gave me a freebie. The nightclub fucking blew an electrical circuit or some shit and 80% of the lights and music just shut down. There was NO music LOL. This worked to my advantage because her friends wanted to leave and go to Omina instead. Now, I know how fucking Vegas is during NYE, they weren't getting into Omnia at 1am LMAO. I told my girl, nah Omnia aint gonna happen, just come to my table upstairs instead. She said yes, and told her friends. Her friends let her go and they parted ways.

Even though, I didnt group manage her friends, they still let her go with me because it was HER who told her friends she's coming with me to the table. Here's a lesson on champions. It's 100x easier to have a champion within the set for your ideas. If you propose an idea to a group, they're gonna be like "uh who the fuck are you bro?" But if you tell your girl to tell her group about the proposition, then it's way fucking easier.

So I took her to the table and introduced her to my group. We sit, have a few drinks, talked alot since there wasnt any music remember? The power was still out lmao. But it was fucking wonderful. When the musics on it was just too fucking loud. There being no music was a great thing. This is where I built an immense amount of comfort. She was a huge WWII nerd and we legit talked about WWII for like 40 minutes. During this time, we were hella touchy and making out intermittently. At this point, I'm like ok wtf am I doing. I need to pull. So I said let's go somewhere else more quiet (music turned back on by now) to get a drink. She agrees and we left the club.

I made a huge logistical error during this pull. I ordered an uber and when it arrived, I couldn't find the uber. Apparently, me being a dumb ass ordered the uber to the wrong pick up destination. I was like oh fuck, shit like this can kill a set. Fortunately, it didnt and I ordered a new uber which picked us up. We went back to my apartment and yall know how it goes ;)

Conclusion: I would say NYE was a pretty good and fun night especially since I haven't done night club game for like almost 2 weeks. I don't think there was anything really remarkable about this set game-wise. Pretty standard and classic. It was a great way to end and start the new year. Here's to 2022 being even better!
