Success (For me at least):

So I (22M) went out with a girl (22F). Not a date. But absolutely look like a date. I don't care what you call it but I went out with a girl. A pretty one, a 9.

It was a coffee outing. We went to this cafe in an art gallery. The coffee was alright. We talked a lot!! At first I was awkward af but I just went along. We talked about so many things, so many deep talks. She talked about her problems, I supported her, I talked about my problems too. It was a thorough conversation. I didn't even realise that I was so into the conversation! I was always looking into her eyes when we were conversing. She said that I am fun and interesting. She loved going out with me. I said the same thing too! I'm not hoping for anything, but I certainly feel so attracted to her. I was pretty bummed out that she had to leave. I wanna see her more!

I don't care so much if she likes me or not, I just like the fact that I can make her enjoy my company, I can make her laugh, I can make her tell her deepest sorrows. It's not that I made her do all that, but it's that I am trustworthy enough and comforting enough that she does all that. That's a big win for me!

Another win is, a girl that rejected me which is her best friend as well suddenly showed interest in me. I'm not saying that she has a crush on me, but the way I handled the rejection piqued her interest. When she rejected me, I moved on quickly. I didn't retaliate, I didn't tweet about her nor do I showed any sadness. I only showed that I was able to get back up stronger. And because of that, she was the one asking about me from my friends and the girl I went out with just now! I'm not hoping for anything, but the way things turned out is such a confidence boost. Goes to show that all the advices and researches that I've done mostly from this subreddit is working and the way I am now is respectable. Even the girl that I went out with just now praised me for the way I handled the rejection.

For now, I'll just go with the flow. At least I have built a reputation for myself, so whenever the next girl that I'm approaching does her background research about me, I have already established a strong foundation and it'll be a smoother sail next time. Wish me luck!
