I had a crush for a girl since 2019 but never made any attempt to be with her, I used the pandemic as an excuse for a long time, but now I decided to try something out, to state that I want to be with her in a romantic relationship so I chatted a little bit with her today and took the risk of asking her out, she kindly refused saying she can’t, I made concrete plans and she didn’t tried to re-schedule or something so I get that she’s simple not interested or has something else going on. I won’t pursue this girl any further but I’m glad I finally taked some action, I would usually just stay passive imagining fake scenarios in my mind that never happened. She rejecting me is really helping me getting over her, so I’m happy with that.

TL;DR: I finally asked my crush out and she rejected so I now know she’s not into me, which is great, so I don’t have to spend any more time imagining a future with her that’s not real.
