After months of self improvement and self doubt, I finally worked up the guts to approach. I was shopping and noticed a solid 9/10 down the aisle. At first, I thought I would have no chance since she had a gorgeous face and perfect fitness body. But I remembered the work I put into my appearance the last couple of months and I told myself she'd be lucky to have me talk to her.

With confident body language I approached and simply asked her if she thought my hands were "gorilla like" since my buddies always say they're huge. I basically worked it so that she was holding her hand against mine to "judge the thickness" lol. I made sure to keep holding her hand and making good eye contact as I changed the subject to movies. After she was done talking about how much she loved Wonderwoman, I told her I wanted to see Dunkirk and that she should join me. All this time I made sure to play with her fingers and keep solid eye contact and a confident smile. She said she'd be down and so I recommended tomorrow night, which she agreed to. I got her number and now don't plan to really "text" at all. Just confirm the date beforehand and see how it goes.

All in all, it was a great rush and I can't believe how proud of myself I feel.
