Me: 27yo, previously "forever alone" (depression, insecurity, ...), on what is more or less my first date ever.

-> Backstory that I was asked to follow up on

I went out with her last night. We talked for three hours about our work, family, hobbies, languages, she seemed genuinely interested, complimented me on some of my hobbies, we laughed a lot and there were barely any awkward silences (when there were, she picked up the conversation again). She had brought me chocolate from her home country (which she didn't give to my directly, but put on the table while I went to the restroom, I found that very sweet). When the bar closed I picked up the bill (after some polite resistance from her), we walked for a while, I gave her a goodbye hug and we went our separate ways (after she asked me to message her again tomorrow).

For a first date, how did I do? Any comments?

A more specific question: having never learned the rituals of dating, I wonder how I can show her that I like her not just as a friend? Is that implied by the situation so far? I am not confident enough to do more than just hug her or to ask her in any kind of direct way.
