Do you not realize how cringe it is to send a message like this? Like really? i mean read it out loud in front of another person, preferably a man, and maybe you’ll realize how cringe it is.

You are clearly having self-esteem issues if you say shit like this not just to women but to any person. Like what is that you hope a woman will say when you say “i know you find me repulsive”?

All she will think (and any normal person too) is “this guys’s got mental problems” and that’s regardless of how the date went.

When she shows her texts to her mum what will her mum say: “Uff, block him and don’t get near him”.

If it were my sister who received that message i would tell her, “oh shit, huge red flag, let me know if she bothers you”.

Like, mate, you seem to lack social intelligence if you think saying this tuff to people is a valid thing to do. What are you trying to do here, playing the victim? Implicitly accusing her of being evil for not doing what you want?

You need to grow up and also get therapy. I’m serious.

It sounds like you went into the date already assuming she wasn’t going to find you attractive and you probably acted cold around her since you thought you had no chance. The date was robotic in a sense.

Goodness gracious dude what kinda of message is this. You have instantly creeped her out when you sent this. She’s glad things didn’t go further with you because in her mind, her safety would be at risk not just in the current moment but also future moments. I get it that you’re concerned about the truth. I am as well but you gotta learn about when and where you’re blunt about it. That was not the time to do that.

It’s surprising that she even replied to you after your post. Any person would tell her to immediately block you and never speak to you again.

Any interest she may have had in you (even if it was tiny) was lost after the first date because she thought you weren’t interested in her. However, she now realized that’s it’s a good thing for her you weren’t interested because in her mind, she dodged a bullet that is you.

And your last comment, “Just shows you can’t win them all”. There was no point in your story where you put in the action to win or even seemed like you wanted to win.

She messaged you first, traveled by train to meet you, and greeted you with a smile. She liked you enough to do all that, dude.

Dude, trying to be helpful here. If you want to “win” then you have to put in some effort. No girl, regardless of how much she likes you, is going to put in all the effort for you to make it happen.

I don’t know. Just from your messages, I think you’re coming across as you don’t want to be there. From what you and the girl said, use it as advice.

Smile when you first meet the girl. Still give her a hug. Build a connection. Don’t be in a rush and enjoy the time. Or if you have to do something later in the day let the girl know that so she’s aware of how much time you have to spend time. Find things that are interesting about her so you could potentially be impressed by her. Look at the girl and be present with her.

Honestly, and I think this is good advice for you, if you feel like it’s not going well or she seems disinterested. Say, “Sorry. I had a bad dating experience before and it makes me get in my head sometime. I’m trying my best to be present and enjoy my time with you.”

Have an honest conversation. Just from what you wrote I’m guessing that you aren’t amazing at social skills. Just start with being honest. I’m not saying it will go amazingly for you, but if instead of texting that girl what you thought and said it in person when you were together it might have gone differently.
