First “date” tips.

Well, you're not off to a great start with the whole, "be friendly," thing. You're borderline friendzoned, so there's that. I think first we need to calibrate your expectations a bit. This girl is probably not going to end up being your gf, ever. If she's saying things like that, she's not in the right place to begin fostering a new long term relationship. That said, here's the good news: women absolutely have rebounds around this time. Any attractive girl has a bunch of dudes hitting her up once she becomes single, and she absolutely does hop on at least one of them lol. So all is not lost.

Next, I'll let you know that parties are not good first date events. You're not, "together," enough to be by her side all night like a couple. This will throw you off your game. Other dudes will be hitting on her, and she has no obligation to you. Odds are she'll leave with someone else's number. Don't do it unless you've been making out all night or something.

Now for your date. Forget the, "friendly," thing. It's a date, that's all there is to it. So here's your tips and tricks"

Hug her when you greet her. Set the stage early for physical escalation. It's starts right at the beginning with the hug.
Sit next to her, not across from her. This isn't a job interview.
Make A TON of eye contact. Look into her soul. If she asks why you're staring you say, "I'm just trying to figure you out."
Change venues. Don't just stay at one bar the whole time. Bounce to at least one more place, and have a little walk between bars. This makes the date feel more eventful and keeps things interesting.
Escalate physically. This is your only way out of the friendzone. You escalate SLOWLY and GRADUALLY. It started with the hug, remember? Now find a good time for a high five. She says something cool, or super funny, or brags about an accomplishment? High five. Now you're challenging her to a thumb wrestling contest, reading her palms, or teaching her a handshake. That's basically holding hands, so now you just do it, hold her hand. If you make it this far, she'll probably be down to kiss. Change venues, walk a bit, stop her at the end of the sidewalk like you're saving her from a car. "That was a close one!" Haha, it's funny. Now you look at her lips, then her eyes, then pull her close, and kiss her. If she rejects any of these advances, take 2 steps back and recalibrate.
Most importantly, have fun! Whether it's successful or not doesn't matter. There's a lot of women in the world. If this one doesn't work out, it's not a big deal. It's certainly no reason to have a bad night. Even if you get rejected or ghosted, if you had a pretty chill night practicing your game, you win.
