Just came to write a quick field report on my first daygame lay.

Quick background, I’ve been doing daygame while living in Korea for maybe 2-3 months now after consuming pick-up content for literally years. I’ve had okay dating results in the past through online game, but decided to go all in on daygame and cold approach in general after my most recent relationship ended.

I’ve been doing most of my approaches at the nearby beach since I live really close and there’s always a bunch of people there as it’s a really nice a touristy area. I noticed this Korean girl sitting by herself on the steps going down to the sand and decided this was a good first set of the day.

I approached and opened by asking if she speaks English, I usually go with this opener with Korean girls since most are apprehensive about speaking English so this gives them a split second to mentally prepare for an English conversation. Even if they say no, I just go along with it anyway since most are at least l able to understand a little bit. I’m able to throw in a little Korean as well if they are really hesitant to open up.

Anyway, she says she does and I follow by saying I thought she was cute and wanted to say hi. We chat a little bit and build a bit of rapport although l should’ve kept the conversation going a little bit longer. I feel like my non-verbals are where I want them to be these days though.

I go for the close and she’s a bit hesitant so I put my number in her phone and chalk it up as a maybe she will maybe she won’t kind of deal.

She hits me up a few days later and I take her to two cool bars in Seoul and the rest is history. My date game is pretty solid so finally feeling good about this cold approach thing feels pretty cool.
