So this was my 7th approach so far. I need a pick me up this afternoon so while on lunch I ran to Starbucks. I spotted a good looking young girl through the window with an older lady talking. She had a peacock feather tattoo going down her neck.

I didn't think twice I walked right in and up to her. I put my hand out towards her and smiled telling her how much I liked her tattoo. Both women smiled and she finally took my hand as we exchanged a brief discussion of it.

I walked away and could her the two of the giggling. I ordered my drink and walked back up to them. Asked them about there little meeting they had going on and the older lady started opening me! She asked my name and was offering the girl show me more of her tattoos. I told her I had one as well and did they want to see it. They said yes and I began to pull my jackets off while exclaiming I don't normal strip for strangers. The older lady said I just want to show off my muscles. hah!

I looked over at the girl and told her there was just something about her I was loving. I told her I though she was gorgeous. All of this was just flowing out of me like I had no concern of outcome. I was just saying what was on my mind. I turned around and grabbed my coffee. Walked back and said before I get out of here I have a question. She acknowledges me and I asked if she was single. She said she was. I said okay question two would you like to come out with me sometime. She said she would. I asked her how we could make that happen. She responded "I could give you my number".

I took her number and told her to give me a hug. Said good bye and went back to work. Never in my life have I had any confidence I could do such a thing. I always had terrible approach anxiety.

Now I am not sure what to do now that I have her number because I've never gotten this far before! haha. Any suggestions?

P.S. I acknowledge I may have not done everything right and she may flake but I don't give a shit. I am happy I have made some big personal progression from butt hurt sad one-itis bitch.
