Back in the summer of 2019, I decided to say fuck it and travel to South America to visit friends. I am posting this thread because a question was asked and no one could come up with the answer to it, thought I'd share my experience. Funny enough I came up with my screename as a popular reddit recommendation but this experience here, even the more depressing parts about it, are all true.

About me:

I am 6'1, light brown skin, and I guess my closest celeb lookalike is Riz Ahmed. Of Indian background but born and raised in Texas. Made some friends traveling abroad, one from Brazil and one from Argentina. I've had a great deal of success in America as well.

For starters, I am going to be honest and say that as a whole, the average guy of my race has a lot of work to do on himself.

The average Indian guy, whether in India or abroad, is a fucking mess both physically and mentally. Physically, out of shape most of the times due to a bad diet and no investment in his appearance at all. Mentally, even worse, a walking ball of cynicism, pettiness, bitterness, negativity, judgmental attitude, value leeching, self-righteousness, and often very poor in character. I have three Indian friends maximum and go out of my way to avoid most Indian men who have often tried to talk to me at bars, suck me into their little tribe (at times by yelling at my face and being rude), and even cockblocked me the hardest (being total strangers) by shouting in my face in front of a girl I was talking to.

I could not see these guys (which is like 97% of Indian men) ever getting laid outside of an arranged marriage, they are responsible for their struggle and their arrogance blinds them from doing anything. Hands down the most toxic demographic I've been around. All that aside, let's get to the lessons.

1 - You will never know the answer until you try, it will surprise you.

"Oh dude Brazil is gonna suck, they only like blonde people there."

"As an Indian, you'll be seen as one of the natives and face a lot of racism, waste of time bro, go to Sweden for easy sex."

All people, never been and never traveled to a place, both depressing souls that tried to talk me out of visiting a friend. At one point, I was thinking of going to Czech Republic instead but at the last moment, said fuck it and visited my friends. My mind was blown away at the amount of bullshit you read online, what people tell you, and what happens when you finally experience it.

Did you guys know that white people are actually very very common in South America?

Like you go to parts of Brazil? All white people, I am talking indistinguishable from a blond-haired American.

I would have never known, according to reddit, the internet, and armchair travelers; that part of the world is all brown people desperate to be white. If you have that curiosity, especially as a young guy, go for it.

If you like that hot girl? Go approach, you'll never know until you try.

If you see that cute girl at a bar? Go talk to her, you'll never know the answer to her being a stuckup bitch or your future wife until you try.

Get the answer by actually trying it, not hearing from others. There are a lot of negative people out there who will try to fill your head with poison and rob you of life if you let them. Let life experience be a teacher, not the words of inexperienced people.

Which brings me to the next part.

2 - Exotic novelty factor is a real fucking thing.

Brazil is a very diverse country with a lot of whites, black people, natives Indians, and even Asians with the Japanese being around but I stuck out like a sore thumb. Indians from India are rare in Brazil, almost unheard of, and I definitely got some attention for it. I'd go to a party with my Brazilian friend (of German descent) who is a blond haired white guy and I'd have random people just asking me where I am from, scratching their heads when I said America, and then asking me more to see what country I came from.

Women in particular gave me a lot of attention, I'd be there with my friend and other women would look around asking him right in front of me where I am from. I had women touch me and grab my shoulder, make eye contact, and have that confused "where the fuck are you from?" look on their face. At times, women talked among each other and looked at me smiling. In Argentina, this was even worse, much much worse as most people there looked pasty white. At one point I had a crowd gather around me with older people wanting to play with my hair.....

The women though were not as pretty as Brazil.

In about 2 weeks in Brazil I slept with 8 different women, all well above average. In 3 weeks in Argentina, I slept with 4 women despite being picky.

3 - But you have to capitalize and know what the fuck you are doing.

Even if you get those attentions and IOIs, nothing replaces game. You have to know what the fuck you are doing or opportunities will slip through the crack. I had instances where I got the attention but my friend ended up taking the girl home because he was so much more aggressive. Other instances, a local guy beat me because he was more touchy and escalated more with women while I stood there with closed body language.

I'd say that these days, an exotic advantage just gets you options that you have to capitalize on. If you cannot capitalize on those options, you are fucked. Most men do not capitalize on options, that is why "game" and places like this exist. I did capitalize on it, if you saw my view of most men of my race, they did not.

4 - Your mindset and mentality play a huge role in your experience.

I heard some politically incorrect shit in Brazil and a lot more in Argentina. One of the girls I fucked from Argentina outright said to me when I asked where the restroom was "it's over there, we don't use the streets here like they do in India". I could have let that whole thing ruin my trip and my experience, 99% of Indian guys would have been crying on the internet about it, despite all that I brushed it off. A week later? I ended up fucking her.

All too often, guys call a place horrible for meeting women or say certain kinds of women suck when in reality, their mindset sucks. The guys who succeed see that no matter what happens, you'll always run into shitty people. For guys who fail, they see a 10% bad experience as a shit experience overall.

5 - Avoid the unhappy, unlucky, negative, and the cynical; especially if they have no personal experience to draw on.

Whether it comes to women and dating, work, career, or life; avoid negative people. I understand some people can be "realists" which is at times great, you can't always keep drinking the kool-aid, but sometimes you need to know when someone is just a negative ball of energy. If someone ever tells you anything negative, immediately drill down and ask what led them to that conclusion. If there is a lot theorizing and it does not come from personal experience? Run like hell.

If on this sub someone tells you all women are shallow racist cheating sluts? Ask them what led them to think that. If they cannot point out a lesson from their life and are giving you their take with no experience of their own in the matter, you're dealing with a debbie downer, run like hell.

If they have experience, ask them what they experienced in particular which led them to believing that, then make your determination.

When you come across negativity and someone trying to be a bit blunt, immediately drill into it.

That about does it.

I will be traveling to visit my Romanian friend in June of this year, if I am still around I'll let you guys know of how that goes.
