So there's this cute co-worker I've seen walking around the office for a while. Today I finally found the chance to approach and talk to her. Opened with a joke, I think it went fine, but after that my mind just went blank. I was able to continue the interaction for a bit, but I think I stopped and parted ways after asking her name and introducing mine, without ever asking more about her. At least I was able to make her laugh until I stopped, but I still felt I ended the conversation too abruptly. Normally I'm quite confident with talking to people in a setting I'm familiar with (e.g. work) so this was quite strange and vexing for me. Does it mean I have lost the chance to attract her forever, or how should I proceed?
