1st k-close:

  • It was the 2nd girl I talked to all night. 1st was quite unfriendly. Take that as a lesson: don't let one unfriendly girl discourage you. She had an unhappy facial expression on long before I talked to her...probably just having a bad day or something.

  • Girl I wound up k-closing had something written in marker on her arm. I asked her about it. It said "happy birthday."

  • Noticed she had an accent, asked her about it, turns out she's from Australia. Made convo about Australia.

  • She's kino-ing me before I even touch her. Knew that was a good sign and that I should hang out with her for a bit.

  • Bought her a shot. Some people think this is a DLV, but it helps to isolate the girl.

  • She said "thanks so much for talking to me when I have this on my chin," a small band-aid from a fall she took. I showed her mine on my arm from a recent vaccination, and made a joke that she won't get pertussis talking to me. She laughed.

  • She said she wanted to return to her friends. So I kissed her and also told her I had one more requirement of her. Had her put her # in my phone.

2nd k-close:

  • Not much work here. Just talked to her and asked her stuff about herself. This often works well for me. Everyone's favorite topic is themselves. And I don't much like talking about myself, so it works.

  • Got her a shot also...in a generous mood I guess. Note that neither asked for it...had they, I would've refused obviously.

  • We go outside to smoke (to isolate her), come back in, chat more. I'm playing with her hair from early on.

  • Start making out with her. She also says she wants to find her friends (it's almost bar time by this point).

  • I just leave, a little bored with her.

Summary:

  • Tried talking louder and slower, and they seemed to pay more attention when I did. Good advice, Seddit!

  • Annoyed at getting 2 k-closes in one night and still no f-close. Maybe the Australian will do it in a day or two, but who knows.

  • Took maybe 6-8 girls just to find these two. Had to chat up a bunch. That's just how it is.

Any advice?
