This is in the UK on local young Brit girls and not in a tourist area either, so maybe this is just to be expected (girls not talking back)

I open 2 girls seated down together and tell them I thought they looked interesting and wanted to meet them (Todd V opener). I tend to like to use situational/observational openers when possible, but nothing 'stood out' so I went with a standard game type opener

They just look at me. I make a quick cold read about them being best friends and then tell the prettier one that she looks like trouble (Another Todd V line)

Still no reaction. Sticking with Todd's model here for now (I tend to experiment with various PUA's models in different sets, though) I ask them what their story is. One of them is like ''Sorry, we're just having a drink'' and the other one is looking at her blank phone

I plow here. I throw in a false time constraint (mysterymethod) to try to take the pressure off as it's clear these girls find the whole 'being approached' thing a bit odd. Not only is it hardly ever done here, they're also very young. Like, there's a good chance this is the first time it's ever happened to them lol

Most PUA models advise that, since I don't have an attraction here, I should now start 'negging' them and disqualifying myself, although i've learnt from my own experiences that doing any of that stuff BEFORE rapport is a very bad idea on UK girls so I abort that idea. I know at this point teasing her about something or telling her that she's cute but 'not my type' or something would just further weird her out or get a legit hostile reaction

I ask how they know each other. She says 'school'. I cold read her about going too a certain school around here that is known to be a bit naughty (carrying on with the 'trouble' them from earlier). She politely smiles and says 'no' and tells me what school. I tell her I went there and tell her a quick story about something funny that made the local news that happened to one of our teachers at that school. She kind of politely laughs and looks away. Friend is still looking at her blank screen, occassionally looking at her friend. I try to get her friend involved and ask her if she's busy on tinder. She shakes her head lol

I'm socially aware. Like, I know that these girls are finding this awkward and want me to leave, but i'm practicing trying to stick in set as per some vids i've watched on youtube recently, otherwise you may aswell never cold appraoch and just use tinder so that you know you are always talking to girls who think you are hot (thus they are receptive)

Get their names and ages. Tell them about my plans for the night and try to get theirs. (''not sure'' is their answer) - They still haven't engaged or asked me anything and it's been a while now so I basically eject here

Can't really 'create' a fun convo when it's one-sided. Some people advise things like ''Don't bore them! Ask them fun things''. When I ask for examples, they tend to say ''Ask her what the most exciting thing she's ever done is?'', but asking a girl who's ignoring you so far what the most exciting thing she's ever done is makes you look like a weirdo lol. Rapport is needed before you can jump to certain stages.

I actually had a set a few mins after which was 100% different. Same game, but they were completely receptive and spoke way more than me and clearly wanted me to stay. However, they were a fair bit older and so I didn't try to escalate as I wasn't attracted

My approach anxiety has grown back quite a lot. A few years back when I was getting laid the most, I was approaching like 20 girls per night. Now I have to really fight myself to get myself too approach 2 or 3.

Wish I could get back them lower levels of approach anxiety that I had a few years back.

Not sure what changed. I think maybe 1 or 2 VERY painful rejections (among some great successes) effected me too much!
