Rage Against Inaction
<< Previous Day
By the Numbers
I continued on my OkCupid rampage, 30 more openers.
Takeaways
- Of the 100+ women I've had conversations with over OkCupid, only two have said "I don't want to continue with this conversation" or "Please stop messaging me."
- My approach was to just keep messaging regardless, the only point is to type the first thing I think of and to plow.
Study Hall
Watched these two videos:
That I found in /r/seduction.
The first hit me hard and made me rethink my approach. Over the last two days I'd been focused on how many approaches, pushing myself, and getting stressed out.
I'd imagine very few women find an anxious, neurotic Woody Allen type guy attractive.
The part that stood out in the Tony Robbins video was that you can change your mood / state, just by asking simple questions:
- What kinds of things have you done that made you proud?
- When's the last time you felt completely confident with a woman?
- What was happening the last time you had a belly laugh?
This helped manage anxiety a bit.
Game Time
Drove around for an hour just getting anxious looking for a place to go. I was listening to more RSD Flawless Natural in the background.
Finally got to a bar. One family my age with a kid, the rest 60+. Loitered around, took a leak and left.
Walking to my car I felt pissed, the fury (RSD term).
Jaywalked to another bar. Up the stairs, guy's looking at me as I walk up, I make eye contact and then he looks away. Walk straight ahead, look left and right, all old people, except one woman my age. Make eye contact with her, I could tell she wanted me to talk to her.
Still can't get myself to approach.
Walk past, I see her move a bit on her bar stool. Walk down a hallway that deadends, walked back.
As I turn the corner she's looking me dead in the eye, and when I look back she turns back to face the bar touching her hair.
Still can't get myself to approach.
FURY.
I walk down the stairs and march around the area looking for,... something, anything,.. damnit
Restaurant, full of old people,... shit.
Closed store,... fuck! ....
Yoga class.
As I pass the window a hot mid 20's woman in a lying down pose locks eye contact with me as I pass by. Some primal shit.
I feel the fury in my whole body. Once I got home and spoke, I noticed my voice got a lot lower.
I'm determined to destroy tomorrow.
Fortunately I do yoga, so this could get interesting.
Questions
- How do you guys push yourself past that inertia of just watching and not approaching?
- Besides the mall on the weekend, what kinds of places are good for daygame?
Shoutouts
- Thanks to /u/flatoutfrazzled for posting his spreadsheet (Day 1), it's going to be a good way to manage all these sarges.
- Thanks to /u/rofio and /u/forseti_ for suggesting using direct openers (open -> compliment).
- Thanks to everyone who's just reading and posting, it helps when I'm in my car a nervous wreck and just want to drive home.
See you tomorrow, after Hot Yogaaaaaa
