Hey. Quick post, as always just sharing my daily experiences. This is from a while ago, but I never bothered to upload so why not do it now.
So, first thing I went out with a wing I met thanks to reddit, which was really cool. This reduced anxiety a TON, specially after the approach, and made it a way more entertaining experience. It feels awesome having validation for what youre doing and having someone who supports you and sees it as normal.
The run was pretty quick since we had little time but I saw a girl doing public surveys. Took me a couple of seconds to convince myself not to make excuses and leave, I took a deep breath and went. I told her:
- Hey, Im sorry to bother you, I know youre working but I thought you were cute so I couldnt help it but come talk to you
She was pretty cold and answered: - You're right Im working right now
I answered: - That's fine I won't bother you then
I proceeded to leave and she said: Wait how old are you? (to see if I was ok for her survey)
I told her my age and she said I was too young and I answered: Dont worry, I honestly didnt care at all for the survey, just wanted to have a chat with you. I smiled at her and left.
Didnt really have much anxiety, was just happy to do an approach after a while, seeing I could do it without much preparation. If I regret something it was not being so present in the conversation, after she told me she was busy I didnt care much for the interaction, I couldve stretched it a bit more just to practice my conversation skills, the girl was probably having a long day and last thing she wanted was a guy flirting on her, couldve tried to get her to smile and try to make her day. Anyways.
Its true that having a wing makes things WAAY eassier, and in the future Ill try to not be so dependant on it to prove myself im just as able to do it alone, but for now im fine doing it with a wing until I get better at it.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
