Another short post. After a long afternoon of not even doing one approach I forced myself to get one. Cute girl walking with a friend, both texting on their phones. I approach:

- Excuse me, do you speak spanish? (I live in a Spanish speaking country)

Her: Just a bit. (I notice the american accent)

Here's when I change to English

Me: Alright, fuck, this is gonna be akward. I saw you and I thought you were cute I wanted to come and say hi.

She smiles back at me but proceeds to keep looking at her phone

I ask her for her name and where shes from, she answers fine. So I go and do the golden question before wasting much time: So how long are you staying here then?

Her: Im actually leaving tomorrow

Me: Oh fuck, I mean, I was gonna definetely ask you out but I wont waste much of your time then, nothing we can do about it.

She smiled and said it was fine, wished her a good day and exchanged a couple of smiles which was nice.

Guess I couldve extended the convo a bit, but whatever, still a newbie.
