Lots of this will be ineffective regurgitation, which sucks because I really want to convey how i'm feeling in the most effective manner. So, headed out alone to a street filled with smaller bars. Usually opened a girl with

"Hey, I saw you and thought you were really cute. Had to come meet you".

By the end of the night I had talked to ~40 girls, 2 makeouts, 1 number (which I don't intend to follow up).

My interactions consisted mainly of:

  • Touching every girl. Usually grabbed their hands and played with it while talking. Perhaps I escalated too quickly. My very first touch with some girls was to grab their waist after 5 min of conversation.
  • Held strong eye contact and smiled. Basically I was very clear with my intentions. One girl even tipped me early on that I was nice, but that she had a boyfriend. Kept talking.

Problems

  • Hitting on girls in front of their girlfriends. I feel this is a natural consequence to talking and flirting with everybody. On occasion I even flirted with friends of the target after I had shown an initial interest in the target. This happened after I kissed a (pretty trashy) girl in front of her friends, then met her friend by the bathrooms and told her she was cute. She was flattered, but didn't take me seriously, as she considered herself "leftovers".

  • I need to get a better understanding of persistence and how far it's ok to push. Several girls asked me to stop, whereupon I loosened my grip around them and went easy until they pulled themselves away.

  • Might have "cornered" some girls and kicked in their fight or flight instincts. I told a girl that I had to talk to her because she was really cute, but she just kept laughing (embarrassed) and shaking her head while keeping me off with her hands. Made out and number closed her after trying for a while. In retrospect I don't think she was really into it. She definitely saw me flirting with others, so she didn't take me seriously either.

  • Became "that guy" All this led me into a very dangerous territory. After hanging with a large group of girls for a while (most of which had just met each other), I got the sense that people were avoiding me because they saw me as trouble. It's true, I would begin flirting and touching anyone, so I don't exactly blame them. But what's the solution here?

My own impressions:

I need to

  • Isolate the girl before I go too far. This is mainly because the girl is too resistant to do shit in front of her friends. I also need to keep my own public image intact, which is on the line here. In public, I should resist being anything more than a friendly, talkative guy.

  • There are seriously way too many distractions in the way of making good use of game. I know that I have to engage the whole group in conversation. But it's hard to keep four girls engaged, while also showing extra attention to one of them.
