This is my first field report of many I hope. I'm going to be starting the stylelife challenge starting on new years, complete with FRs. On to last night...

I went out last night with the mind set of just talking to a few people. I was out with a girl friend who knows about this stuff. We sit down and I actively ask the name of our waitress (HB6). Fast forward to our second round of drinks:

Me: before our next round, can I ask your opinion on something?

Waitress: of course

Me: jealous girlfriend routine

Waitress: I guess it depends why his friend is his ex. If it's because she moved away and is now coming back then no, it's not cool. If they just figured out it didn't work as a dating relationship then sure, that's fine by me.

Me: that's a good way to look at it. Sounds like you've thought of this before?

Waitress: you could say that (smiles and we order our round)

Nothing too much, didn't think anything of it. On our way out we were in a rush to catch a shuttle and she yells at us to come back. "You forgot to take your shots!" She said smiling. We then all three took the free shots and had to jet to catch the shuttle. My thinking is that the shots would most likely have not happened if I didn't open her. Thoughts?
