First FR and first date after break up with ex. Doing my best, please critique and offer any advice.

So I met a girl a few days ago at a party and didn't hook up with her there. I was with other girls at the party, joined her into our group and teased her, etc. I ended up leaving and asking her for her phone number with a direct approach for coffee. She said yes.

So I get there, she got there first. Looking back, I wish I had gotten there earlier, as the seats were across from one another as opposed to side by side or at 90 degree so I wasn't able to touch her that much, like only hand when she placed them on the table (I asked her about the ring and touched her hand.)

We talked, naturally, but I felt like I wasn't able to really get an emotional part to the conversation. I teased her about a few different things and we bantered back and forth a little bit. I wasn't really able to use my stock use of DHV's as they really didn't come into play as subjects changed. I used the frame that she was hitting on me throughout the night. It wasn't really that strong and wished I referred kept to it more. Also, she was laughing a lot at what I said, but funny =/= fun, which is what the aim should be, right?

We talked for almost two hours, but I felt like I couldn't make a move because of the physical distance. Looking back, I wish I had moved location, but it was kind of cold tonight and really didn't think about it. Also, she said she had something, but she pushed it back a little later which I figured was a good sign. Also, as we were walking back, she said she might be sick; I wasn't sure if this was a shit-test or what. I ended up not k-closing.

Lessons

  1. Get there early to pick where you want to sit, seriously can make a pretty big difference.

  2. Change location, no matter what. Keeps date lively and does a lot for their mind as it adds to their experiences.

  3. Be more fun, not funny.

  4. Stronger frame.
