So I don't go to this school but it's really close by to the school I go to so I just go to their campus and practice pickup. I've been doing this for a couple days now but today I would say I did a quite a bit of approaches and I'll try to remember each.

First: This was my warm up, saw an average girl, asked her if she knew where I could get some coffee, she replied and then I said my good bye and ejected.

Second: There was quite a bit of time between my first and second but I saw a cute girl, walked past her said fuck it and turned around. Opened her in a standard manner, she said she had to go to a meeting though so I walked along with her. I wasn't really interested in the meeting even though she invited me to go. I tried to set something up for the weekend but she said she's been busy lately. During the conversation I wasn't really doing well confidence wise too, my voice was low and I wasn't feeling the interaction as much. We did some more idle talk since we were going the same way and then she had to go so we said our good byes.

Third: I saw her walking by and I wasn't sure about approaching. She seemed average looking so I just went for it. Asked her where the bookstore was and then told her she was cute, she said that was pretty smooth and then we just started talking about what year she was and what not. She seemed like she was in a hurry so I told her we should meet up and do something this weekend. She agreed and gave me her number. At the end of the day I texted her and asked her when she was free sat and threw in a little comment about the interaction, still no reply though.

Fourth: I was sitting down on a bench, decided to give myself a little break. I saw this girl walking by though and I made some eye contact, gave a little smile. At this point I pretty much was on an approaching spree and didn't care about anything else. As soon as she walked past me I got up and talked to her, I told her she was cute and she smiled and laughed a bit to appreciate my confidence. She said she was in a hurry and had to get to a dinner date. She pretty much let me down easy so I just said alright it was nice meeting you though. I shook her hand and gave my good bye.

Fifth: After the last girl I saw a girl walking out of a building a couple minutes later. She seemed cute so I approached her and opened her asking her where the bookstore was. Once I got closer she seemed pretty old, maybe like 20 and I'm only 18. I didn't lead in with I thought she was cute because I thought that it wouldn't go anywhere so there's no point. I ejected.

Sixth: I walked in towards the lounge area of some building and took a seat, I saw a girl reading a book and having some coffee. I tried to make some eye contact and after a while I approached her. I told her she was cute and I wanted to get to know her, she said she was a freshman and we started talking about what she was reading. She then questioned why I was on the campus if I didn't go to the school which came up in the conversation. I said I was actually just meeting a friend here but he didn't show up, wasn't really good quick thinking on my part, so she said alright well good luck finding your friend. I pretty much fucked that one up and I knew it so I just ejected and said my good bye.

Seventh: I was about to call it a day because it was getting pretty dark outside but I saw one really cute girl and she looked amazing. I did a standard opener on her and we talked for a bit. I got her name and she seemed pretty cool, I was about to invite her to do something for the weekend but right as I was about to go for it she said she had a boyfriend. At this point I was like oh alright, it was nice meeting you though, and I ejected.

Those are all the approaches I did for the day and here are some of the things I learned: I feel like I eject too early sometimes, like I'm not persistent enough. Like in the 6th approach I might have been able to salvage it but I'm not sure if that would have been the right thing to do or it's better to just not waste my time and eject. I also think that as soon as I hear something like boyfriend I just leave and move on. I can see that as I'm saying my good bye after they say they have a boyfriend they wait a bit as if they're expecting me to stop and continue talking with them. Maybe I shouldn't walk off so suddenly and try to make a friend, who knows. I feel like I'm doing too much screening. Before I open a girl I try to guess how old she is and if she seems pretty old like tallish and maybe dressed up I usually don't approach because I'm young and I'd figure that it would just lead to an obvious blow out. Maybe I should take more chances with these girls and it wouldn't hurt if I opened them. I feel like I need more excuses to be on the campus, like I need to have something ready to say when I'm asked that. I obviously can't respond with oh yeah I'm here to pick up girls.

Those are all the things I could reflect on after doing this FR, any thoughts if you guys actually read this through?
