2 Weeks ago or so, I get a "like" from this one girl. I check out her profile, pretty barren, not much to gather other than we have a liking to one topic. So I message her and she immediately messages back. This goes on for a day or so and I finally give her my number. She texts almost instantly, "hope it isnt weird that Im texting you this quickly." I made a joke out of it and we proceed to text back and forth for about a week. She tries inviting me out for drinks a couple times but my schedule didn't permit with hers as she lives outside the city and commutes in a couple times a week.

I should note, in her profile, she states one of the things shes seeking is casual sex and "is willing to sleep with someone on the first date." Now she's really intelligent, mid 20's, and cute.

This last sunday I finally asked her out because our schedules aligned. She said her whole evening is free so lets get together. I picked a bar and met her there.

We had an hour long conversation about everything, good flow, she was inquisitive and so was I. She showed IOI's with touching her hair and laughing. We sat on a two person couch, my left arm on the couch and foot on opposite thigh for the typical 4-figure pose. Though she sat a bit distant from me. I looked confident and spoke confidently. After about an hour, she said, "what's next?". I said, well Im new to the area, I picked this bar, you know the area better so what do you think?" She said, "good question, well it is a little late, let's call it an evening and meet up for lunch later this week, perhaps we can make new year's plans as well."

So we go outside to hail a cab, I make her laugh some more and we hug twice.(first time she hit my phone out of my hand and second time I made sure to do it right). I tell her Ill wait for her cab to come first but she insists I dont. So I leave, wave goodbye and as Im driving home I text her, "let me know when you get to your car." Just so I knew she would be safe. Two hours go by and nothing. Then all of a sudden she texts, "I got a cab and went out, lol." I thought "WTF?". Really weird.

I text her back "Have fun" and she asks if Im home. That was the end of it. At this point I kind of lost interest pretty quickly after this first date. I think she was looking for guys to hook up with and I obviously am not the type to do that on a first date. I also wait for 2nd or 3rd date, to kiss, just to show I'm not desperate for physical intimacy.

She also mentioned that she had only been on a date with one other guy in a month because most guys are "sleezy". I don't know what to make of this situation at all. All I know is that it's been a day or so with no texts from either of us and I don't intend to text her.
