Hey seddit. Long time lurker; "Armchair PUA" if you will. This was my first date in a very long time, about 7 months.

This past sunday I set up a date with a girl I knew from about 3-4 years ago. She came to my house, we chatted for a bit with my landlord, and then we went cliff jumping. Just to let you guys know, we had a blast, if you can go cliff jumping around you, its fuckin great. Anyway, we were at the bay of the jump, having a quick toke before jumping. We talk, I attempt to initiate some kino by touching her tattoos and touch when laughing etc. What threw me off was that she did not reciprocate in any way. It's not like she responded poorly when I touched her, I dunno. Perhaps she was nervous?

While on the bay, a few people walk by and look at the setting of the jump (you have to climb around a fence). I demonstrate to a few people how to get around, and I make the first jump, at the highest point. Kinda showing off but I played it off as a DHV.

While we are still on the bay, a few people I know come through, and if I'm not mistaken, that would also be a DHV. Either way, we get to jumping. We do a few jumps and my friends decide they are heading out. Fair enough, I felt like staying a bit longer, my date and I make a few jumps and then dry off on the bay, more talking, trying to get out of my head to kino her more, I'm sure you all get the gist. We head back to my place and into my room and she immediately closes the door. I should have made my move here, but instead I pussyfooted around and got changed elsewhere. Anyway, we are in my room just chatting for a while, when the time comes around for me to go meet some friends. I walk her out, and attempt to give her a kiss goodbye. (I know, kill me, dont wait until the last moment) She pushes me back and says "Woah, I dont kiss on the first date" I was pretty confused by this, to which I said "I'll get you next time" with a smirk. I tell her to get home safe, and I go out.

She texts me 1,2,3 times as soon as she gets home.

Her: Home

her: Cant beleive you tried to kiss me you little fox :p

Her: I stopped for sushi in town and then I'm home actually.

Me: Haha is there a problem, officer? Great now Im craving sushi

Her: Im usually spot on with things but I didnt see it coming at all haha. I would have shared :p

I think this was a sign that I did not kino enough. Or perhaps flirt enough. Either way, I need to work on both.

We exchange 2-3 texts about sushi and then she tells me shes going to bed.

Me: I feel ya, today was tiring as hell. I had a lot of fun with you though, sleep well :)

She: Thanks it was fun. Maybe next time i'll jump from the top. Get some sleep!

That last line kind of hit me as a 'sleep on it' sort of thing.

I would like to see this girl again, but im not quite sure how to go about it. Any input on the situation, and advice for a growing PUA would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway, I just wanted to share my experience, and hopefully some of you can take away something from it.
