I've been trying to adopt the seduction mindset for some time now but Friday was the first time that I actually went out with the intention of talking to women. I went to a large outdoor mall with a goal of opening 3 different women. Baby steps, right? Though, I may have cheated in this regard because 2 of the women I opened were employees and essentially being paid to talk to customers. Anyway, here are the details.
After arriving at the mall I went straight to a favorite store of mine and started looking through clothes. At this point I wanted to incorporate some opinions on clothing into my conversations because I somewhat enjoy fashion and I figured it would be an easy conversation topic. I saw a cute girl working by the try-on area and decided to approach. I had to muster up a little courage first. I grabbed a purple pair of shorts and went to ask her opinion. The conversation was just slightly awkward and I felt rushed to eject because of my nerves. She seemed into me though. I held strong eye contact and asked for her name. No kino but I might have shook her hand.
After that I went to a coffee shop, which seemed like a comfortable setting for conversation. I didn't get to approach because I ran into a female friend from class and we talked for 20-30 minutes. No spark here but I figured I'd practice some technique anyway. I hugged her hello and goodbye, held strong eye contact, and tried to place myself physically closer to her than I would normally be. I also noticed that I have a habit of crossing my arms too frequently. We said goodbye and I moved to the next approach.
I went into another store and was greeted by a cute girl who worked there. We were the only ones in the store for a while. We talked pretty naturally and also had a few laughs. I complimented her on her style and she seemed to respond positively. We hung out for 5-10 minutes and I tried on some clothes she recommended. Maybe she was just being a salesman or maybe she was interested, I don't care. I got her name and left.
I then realized that it was getting late and I had to be at a friend's place soon. But I was still 1 approach short of my goal. I figured that I would start walking to my car and do a cold approach on the way. I passed by a guy holding a really small dog and then noticed a girl pretty close behind me. I turned to open with "did you see that dog? cutest dog ever" expecting some girly "omg so adorable" response, but got flat out rejected. However, I remember feeling relief. I know that rejection is a big part of this game and I was glad to realize that it's not so bad. I left the mall happy that I accomplished my goal.
I feel really good about my first day out. I didn't get any numbers but I got a couple names. I felt like I could have easily number closed, but for some reason I felt like 'playing it safe' on my first attempts. Biggest issue at this point is that kino still feels very foreign. I'm always looking for opportunities but it never feels right. I plan to focus more on kino in my next approaches. Anway, I'd love any feedback or criticism. Amateur stuff here, I know, but I'm excited to be a part of the game.
TLDR: First 3 approaches. 1 rejection. Got names and had a good time. Open to any feedback.
