This night made me realize I need more work on building attraction. I can start conversations and build rapport with females decently. My transition from comfort to attraction needs work and tonight is evidence of that.

The night started off with me dancing in the backroom to a live band. I was waiting for the guys to show up and so decided to have some fun and hopefully create some status by showing off some moves. When two of the guys arrived, we headed toward the smoking patio and chatted for bit: we did not know each other. It was our first meetup. A guy from the table next to us, approached me for a lighter.

Guy: hey, do you happen to have a lighter.

Me: sorry. You could always just use these candles here.

Me: What is the occasion? (They had a big group. 4 guys 2 girls)

Guy: *pointing to the HB8 and another guy, "She is leaving town to NY and Pappi here is leaving on a ship"

I used this opportunity to insert myself into the group by pretending not to hear the name Pappi. They introduced themselves one by one.

HB8: Hi Im Guinevere

Me: Hi my name is funnygy. No shit, your name is Guinivere?!

HB8: yea

Me: Your fucking lying. bullshit

HB8: I have been Guinevere for 30 years now.

We started chatting about new York and how people are different over there then here. She has a god daughter and family there, which explains why she is moving. I didn't focused too much on her as I moved around the group talking to everyone I could. I also introduced them to my wingmen, allowing them to also work their game as well. I came back to her at the end of the night.

Me: hey are you free tomorrow night?

HB8: uhh... I have to work

Me: I want to take you around before you leave

HB8: sorry I'm gonna be pretty busy. This is my last day to hang out

Me: you gotta eat right?

She starts to look around and break eye contact. So I got the hint. Didn't want to make her uncomfortable and so I ejected. Wished her good night and left the patio.

I was approached while looking for the bathroom

HB7: nice moves!

Me: oh me? thanks .

Me: Hi my name is funnygy

HB7: Hi I'm _____ (I forgot her name)

HB7: man that is a hard name to spell. You got Starbucks syndrome

Me: yea, they always get my name wrong.

HB7: Here let me show how badly they spelled my name. *proceeds to take out phone and load the internet. After a minute has passed

HB7: This is taking a long time. I have to go. My friends are waiting for me. See ya.

So here are my takeaways

-Wingmen are great. chatting with them before your sets helps your mindset and fluidity during conversations. They also validate you, so that you don't look like a loner.

-Dance more. girls will approach you

-I need to build more attraction somehow. Maybe more kino. or scale down the kino? not sure.

-I should tease and be more playful. This will help with the attraction thing.
