Some of you may remember a thread from a while ago when i was inquiring as to how to be alpha when trying to find the same girl to sit next to from the previous week. There were some great suggestions there, but none helped when i arrived 5 min late to my nearly-full class today. Luckily i saw a seat next to a decent looking girl (HB7.5) that i'd never seen before. During the course of the first part of the class, i make a couple small comments, feel her out a bit. She seems friendly, approachable. I take the opportunity at the break to introduce myself and chat for a bit. She's new to the school, also works full time and does school full time. Seems pretty cool. Funnily enough has a unique name (I do as well) that i forget about 2 minutes after hearing. (generally i don't concern myself with this too much because people never remember my name. althoguh i do try).

during the next part of class, we make quips back and forth about the prof/class/whatever, air is decidedly friendly. No intentional kino (kinda hard to do in class.. tips?). I make a comment about a guy in one of the videos' glasses (like bottle bottoms). Later i say they'd look great on here (i lulled, she did too). good fun.

After class ends, she leaves, but as we're leaving, i stay only a moment behind, and engage her as soon as we get out the door by asking if she's also taking the bus. She says she is, and we chat for the walk. Turns out she had never known this way to the bus was possible, and instead always got on at the other stop, which meant the bus was already full, and she had to stand.

As we arrive at the bus loop, my bus looks like it's leaving, but rather than return the 'see you next time', i take one other person's advice in that thread and say 'its been nice chatting with you, you should give me your number' or something to the effect. She says sure (tbh, i was quite a bit surprised) and gives it to me as my bus takes off. I shrug it off (LIKE A BUS), and she says to fire me a text saying my name (HAH! i knew she forgot it). I say sure, and we part ways after a bye or whatever.

This is what was texted:

(5 min later) me: hey its RYG, btw how do you spell your name, it's so unique

(instantly) her: spelling its ghetto haha (is she disqualifying here? her name is a bit hood, but it's cool)

(instantly) her: Thanks for the bus tip. I have never had a seat on the way home before haha

I usually have a problem with over-texting, so i haven't replied at all instead. Not sure what to say or where to go... suggestions?

Also, i just facebook creeped her after writing all that (but i didn't add/poke her, fb=bad for interests) and it looks like she has a boyfriend... sooo... i guess.... iunno

Side note: don't you guys ever get afraid that girls we mention might find these FRs? that would kinda suck. holy eff, wall of text much? sorry for the anticlimactic ending!.

TL;DR: guy sits next to girl in class, gets her number, creeps fb and finds out she has a bf.
