Just a warning, I am new to the community and have pretty much no game at all, so don't expect anything wild. I forced myself to go out on Halloween evening to a local club, this is what happened.

I arrive there around midnight (yes, it took me that long to pick-up my balls and decide to go out). The place is crowded, but with only a short line at the entrance. In line in front of me is a group of 3 guys (G1, G2, and G3) and one HB6 (Queen6). After a few minutes of observing the crowd (lots of HBs in skimpy costumes), I open the group by asking G1 how long they have been waiting. G1 is very friendly and starts talking excitedly, praising my costume and telling me about all the fun cities where he likes to party. G1 actually uses kino on me (yes, I am a straight guy). I am obviously dealing with a masterful PUA, so I observe his behavior and start taking mental notes. He introduces me to the rest of the group. I talk to them for a few minutes, they are all quite friendly. Queen6 tells me not to worry, G1 isn't gay. I jokingly reply that I wasn't too worried, but that her friend is definitely the touchy-feely type. I am not attracted to Queen6, so I don't try too hard. After a short blank in the conversation, I open another group, actually an HB5 and her boyfriend, by mocking their body posture (they were lazily leaning against the wall while waiting). I make fun of their costumes and ask them where they are from. I must mention here that I'm very shy, and that this required a lot of effort on my part. All of this is to try to get myself "in state", but I do not feel it yet, when the bouncers let us in after a few minutes. I get inside the club as part of the group composed of G1, G2, G3 and Queen6. For some reason, they all speed towards the back of the club, and I leave them when I realize they are actually all heading to the bathroom (I'm not sure why, and I probably don't want to know).

The club is definitely cool. This is my first time there, but I love the music (some good techno), and the atmosphere. There are lots of HBs all over the place, but nothing that really grabs my attention. For some reason, I do not feel like drinking that night (this might have been a mistake, getting buzzed usually helps me to get rid of my inhibitions). I walk around to get a feel of the place, and move to the dance floor. I pick a random spot in the middle and start dancing there by myself, waiting to see what fate awaits me tonight. After only a couple of minutes, a set of 4 HBs (HB6, HB7, HB7, and HB8) move onto the dance floor and start dancing in front of me. I want to open them but get a huge AA spike, and just keep dancing and observing them like an idiot. After at least ten minutes of this, I finally find the courage to open HB6 by asking her what her costume is. She doesn't hear me (the music is really loud, she has her back to me) and I get completely ignored. This is not going well. I stay at the same place and keep dancing for five more minutes. HB8, cute brunette dressed as a fox (fake tail and ears) is totally my type. I try to open HB6 again, this time trying to awkwardly move away her long hair to uncover her ear so that she will hear me. Of course, she freaks out, and her friends come to her rescue by moving her to the middle of their dance circle, therefore preventing my pitiful attempts at opening her. I feel like an idiot. One set blown away, still many to go.

I move to a different location on the dance floor. I notice that there are twice as many guys as HBs at this point. This is not looking good. I see an HB4 dancing by herself. I put my hands on her waist, from behind, and try to dance with her. She looks back at me, then move away by a few steps. I do not insist, and I am not into her anyways. I move to another location. I see an HB8 dressed as a cat. I immediately open her by putting my arm around her waist, and whispering in her ear that I like her costume. I point to her cat ears and give her a thumbs-up, she smiles and thank me. Keeping my arm around her, I jokingly ask her if she lost her tail (she wasn't wearing one). She laughs. She doesn't move away from me, and I feel that my bad luck might be about to turn around. Suddenly, her female friend, HB6 comes out of the woods and pulls her away from me, and HB8 is suddenly surrounded by HB6, and two other guys, CB1 and CB2, preventing any further interactions with her.

At this point, I don't feel too good about myself, but at least I'm trying. I take a break from the dance floor and walk around a little bit. I think about getting a drink, but decide not to, since I have to drive back home, and go to work the next day. As I walk around, I see G1 and G2 in the middle of a conversation with an HB5. I join their group. They both have good game, and HB5 looks like she's having a great time. Right when I join them, HB5 kisses each of them on their cheek. I am not attracted to HB5, but I feel that I want some of this, just to make my evening a little bit better. As I'm about to ask HB5 to give me one too, she grabs G2, and turns him around to face her. I move on and start talking to G3 who was nearby.

At this point, I've given-up all hopes of hooking-up on that night, I'm still not in-state, and I'm just killing time before heading back home. After a little while, I see Queen6 hanging out nearby, and I start talking to her. I am facing her, and go for hardcore kino by holding her waist/stomach while talking to her. She doesn't complain, and we keep talking like this for a little while. I break our conversation to go talk to G1, at which point I observe that G3's hands are now wandering all over Queen6's body while he talks to her. Ok, they are obviously a couple, and I just realize it now. Oh well. I go back to the dance floor, which has literally 90% of guys at this point. I don't see any HB dancing by herself. Tonight is not going to happen.

It's almost 2am, the music is turned off and the lights turned on. I go back home, by myself, obviously. My regrets of the evening: going out too late, and not having opened the first 4-set on the dance floor right away. I'll be better next time.
