But last night something rather…unexpected happened. There were two girls, Girl 1 is a HB7, and girl 2 is easily HB 8/8.5. Basically, I went to the games room where people play pool/foosball (table soccer) with my friend and watch movies sometimes. So I walked in mid movie and just sat down, my friend coming about 10 minutes later, and enjoyed the movie while sometimes made a little joke here and there (I hate when people talk through movies though so I just did this once or twice). Girl 2 constantly checked her phone during the movie, obviously looking bored as she was sat between Girl 1 and another guy, who made 0 moves at all so I figured nothing serious was up.

After the movie, the three guys that were there left, I really believed one of them was dating or even remotely interested in Girl 2, but they just up and left for food 12 midnight and left the two girls alone. I saw them near the foosball table about to play so I easily got involved as my friend and I played against them, after we lost we switched up teams and I was on Girl 2’s team. They told me their names but I said they couldn’t get mine until they won against me, so they played. I’ve been really fun and playful so far, doing some kino on shoulder/elbow, high-fives etc. on both girls. I started some neggs but I never go overboard with them, an example of a few were: My buddy, upon scoring against me said “Wow that was too easy, it’s like I’m facing an idiot” So I said, “Hey man, she’s not THAT bad”, this was received with a big laugh and playful punch from Girl 2. Music had been playing since the movie ended, and I got her to show me a little shuffle/dance move I guess by saying “I hope you can at least dance better than you play, you just cost us that game!”

So I was confident, smiled, funny as hell from the ton of laughs I got from them, did a good amount of kino (didn’t get past shoulder/elbow touch with some slight waist touching when crossing them at the table etc.), cool and new as I slipped in DHV’s like where I was from (“I guess snow is like a really cold, wet sand that falls from the sky, or maybe not and I just miss the Bahamas”) which was met with “Omg you’re from the Bahamas?” etc. Also mentioned how I can windsurf/wakeboard when I found it appropriate to slip in, they obviously thought this was pretty cool but didn’t make a big deal about it, which I didn’t expect them to.

I tried to give Girl 2 about 40% of my attention, Girl 1 30% and my guy friend 30%, I let her know I wasn’t obsessed etc. over her by doing basic things like not standing facing her directly, steering conversations towards myself, my friend and Girl 1, e.g. when talking about scary movies Girl 2 is apparently horrified to watch any, So I said “Oh that’s boring! Scary movies are amazing, what do you think [Girl 1]?” Girl 1 loves them, So I talked about her favs/mine, and brought my friend into it too.

So I got their numbers (well, bbm’s considering we all had blackberries and I think I was really overthinking asking for their numbers), I didn’t want it to seem weird or like I was really interested in Girl 2 So I said “So I know YOU [Girl 2] have one, seeing as you checked it about a thousand times during the film, but anybody else here have a blackberry? Give me your bbm’s” So I got them, and at like 1:30 a.m it was obvious they had to get going so I simply bade them goodnight when they asked us to walk them home. Girl 2:“Hey…can you guys walk us home? Just in case we get raped or something, we need protection!” Me: “Well I’m not sure, we ARE strangers! Whose to say we wouldn’t even…(big laugh) I’m just kidding, hell I need to worry about YOU two! I’m letting you know now I carry a rape whistle” This was met by big laughs/ more playful hitting. So we walked them home, it was fun (cold as fuck though), got them home and just simply said good night.

A few things (I realize that was a ton of info!): Girl 2 did sometimes try to return the neggs during the game and would sometimes call me dude, I don’t mind at all being mentioned as dude but is this a clear IOD? I didn’t even think about it until the end of the night because of the other IOI’s I got such as: Playful hitting, found me hilarious, big smiles, would hold eye contact during conversations, asked me to walk them home, stood next to me when walking home/hanging out in the game room (not on my arm unfortunately, but in obvious close proximity), tried to interrupt my conversation a few times but I firmly held eye contact with Girl 1 or my friend, whoever I was originally talking to, as I could tell from the corner of my eye that Girl 2 was basically staring at me while talking, I would return eye contact when finished with the other two. She tried to use a nickname for me (My name is Rhoderique, she was like “Maybe I should call you Rho Rho (giggle)” I laughed, said “as long as you don’t mind me calling you sofa” (her name is Sophia), she laughed, I said I hate that nickname (referring to mine) and she didn’t say it again, but she wasn’t offended or anything, big laughs all around etc. and mentioned no boyfriend as well.

Just wanted to put those out there, I try not to look too much into IOI’s however, and I also couldn’t isolate Girl 2 at all seeing as how small the group was, So I didn’t even try last night.

My question is: How do I continue? How do I see her again/what should we do? I think I may even be open to dating this girl, and if I want to, any advice? I’m a good boyfriend, but not too great at actually becoming one. I can’t think of a scenario to get her as my girlfriend, and I haven’t sent her a text yet, should I just send her one saying “Give me your number”, and if she gives it, call her up and make plans?
