So yesterday I went out to a bad taste party and obviously I had to wear something bad taste. So since I'm free of pain and only had some minutes to prepare I just threw on a, very sailor-moony, wig.
I didn't think it would make any special impact at that moment. But when I got there I realized I was the only bearded guy with a wig there. Hell I was even the only straight guy with a wig.
While waiting for some friends in front of the club, I already had gotten 3 compliments for my outfit and when we got in, this surely didn't slow down. I have to mention that I got rather lazy recently so I hadn't approached anyone that night. And it proved to be unnecessary since that night I got approached like hell, by guys and girls. I just had my fun like always and embraced my being a girl for once ... My friend said she could learn some dance moves from me, dancing girly.
I didn't put in any effort that night but at the end I went out having danced with 2 girls, being invited to 'coffee' by one guy and probably like 5 missed obvious opportunities with girls out of fear and laziness.
So, I guess this had such an impact because I looked manly and girly at the same time and was very comfortable with it, having fun and practically changing roles with the singers voice in the song. (Also I wasn't looking like a tranny.) More generally peacocking probably works because you visibly break a social rule/stigma with your outfit.
So I hope someone gets something out of this. For me I mostly wrote this because I have quite a lot of FRs up my sleeve now and I want to start writing them but never get to it. so I wrote one of the most recent and most easy to write.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
