Hi guys, my first FR so feedback on content and format would be appreciated.

So I was finishing up work yesterday and I told myself that tonight was going to be a good night - pop down to the bar next to work for some pre-drinks, meet up with friends to watch some standup then see where the night takes us. Night started off at a rooftop bar with me and 2 friends. Great night, good music and good crowd. As we were talking shit, I saw a girl standing in front of our table alone with 2 drinks (I wasn't attracted but she drew my attention) - her friend must have went off to the bathroom. I took longer than 3 seconds and almost wussed out from approaching (what if I get rejected, my friends will see, I'll be a laughing stock etc etc). I caught myself before I completely chickened out and approached her. It went something like this (sorry I'm a bit hungover so details are fuzzy):

Encounter 1

Me: Hi

Girl: Hi

Me: Noticed you were standing alone waiting for your friend. Thought I'd keep you company.

Girl: Oh yeah haha (nervous laughter)

Me: Well it's either that or you're holding 2 drinks and I don't want to see you becoming an alcoholic.

Girl: Well that's true (less nervous laughter)

Me: So what's up?

Conversation then continued about how she was from New Zealand and she was with her friend looking for work. Friend came back and we talked some more about random stuff. I ejected when things got a bit stale. Looking back I should have used that situation to just warm up and practice a few things like holding more eye contact, light kino on both of them, diverting the conversation towards something that's more interesting than work etc. But whatever, it got me into an even better state.

Met up with my other friends to see the comedian later that night (laughing continually for an hour is great way to get into state) and I parted ways afterwards to meet up with another group at a club. Friend of a friend, wealthy family, VIP room in a club, open tab. Epic setup. When I got there I spent the first hour or so just talking shit with various people and just overall having a great time.

Encounter 2

As I was talking I loved over my shoulder, saw an HB7 walk past and made eye contact, held it and smiled. She smiled back. Later on in the night after a few more looks from each other I saw her standing by herself and playing with her phone. I approached, she looked up and (cause I was tipsy and feeling ballsy at this stage) I gave her the once over and she did too. Both of us smiled. I just went up and said hi and as we were talking, everytime I leaned in to hear I put my hands on her lower back. She was actually married so I talked a little more and bailed. Fuck that.

Encounter 3

My friend's girlfriend found me and started marching me towards the bar again like a congo line. Introduced me to her friends. This is where I really wish I had more detail but my memory of it is only this: I said hi to all of them, I held eye contact with one of them (HB8), got really close and drew her in and just started making out with her. I wish I remember what I said or how I initiated everything but that's all I remember, sorry guys. I do remember that I had her pinned against a wall (nothing aggressive) and I stared into her eyes, noses almost touching, held it until the tension got so much that she came in for the kiss. Everytime we separated I would repeat this - it really ups the ante. I also felt her gstring through her thin dress material and I flicked it; I remember her liking that too. Anyways, after awhile she had to go (designated driver I think), I grabbed her number, put in "Crazy" for her first name and showed it to her - playful slap, kiss goodnight and she was gone. This all happened in a room full of people, next to the bar so I think alot of people saw.

Encounter 4 and 5

I proceed to a balcony area with couches overlooking the dance floor, saw a girl I chatted with earlier in the night and sat down next to her. I made a remark about her long legs and her tiny dress. Again eye contact, held it with a little smile until she looked away and giggled. I'm pretty sure I could have gone in for a kiss but someone spilled a drink over my leg and she went off to get me a napkin. As I was waiting for her I saw this gorgeous Sri Lankan girl - HB9 rocking a little black dress, sitting by herself on her phone. I sat next to her, introduced myself and started chatting. She had a boyfriend so I switched off a little and I teased her about how difficult it must be to have a boyfriend while owning a dress like that. The other girl came back with a napkin, saw me talking to HB9, turned around and stormed off. Whatever.

Night ended there and this morning I've been texting HB8. Conversation below.

Me: I remember you having very kissable lips

HB8: Hahaha normally it's a good morning. well I remembered u saved my name as crazy

Me: (Took a screenshot of her contact profile and sent it to her) You were pretty crazy though. I was just having a good time when suddenly you jumped me. Heavy make out ensued. What's a guy to do...

HB8: I jumped u??? I don't remember that! From what I recall it was u that wanted the makeout! And by the sounds of things I seemed to have ruined your night? (Great opening for...)

Me: I wanted it, you wanted it meh same same. Yeh you totally messed up my night. You need to make it up to me.

HB8: Do I now?? N how exactly u want me to make it up to u? (I thought here I could either go more sexual or set up another meet... I was really hungover so...)

Me: We can discuss details face to face. I need to show you anyways. [Location and time]

She couldn't make it but did invite me to a party tomorrow. I want to go but am actually quite nervous because I would be by myself. If you guys have any advice for this then that'd be great.

Summary of the night?

  • Eye contact, eye contact and more eye contact. This is something I'm trying to work on especially if I'm sober as it tends to just happen when I drink. Hold it until they break it. Let me them see you giving them the once over and if they smile, you're in.
  • Escalate your own state. Once you've had something good, build upon it throughout the night.
  • Don't get too drunk. Towards the end I think I was almost slurring my words and I could have done something really stupid...like hit on the girls in relationships in front of their SOs...
