I've been lurking here for around 9 months and improving my game and myself. My family took a vacation to Gulf Shores and I decided I was finally gonna start approaching and being more social.

Unfortunately my family picked a terrible time to visit because the resort was filled with 12 year old cheerleaders and girls my age were scarce. Regardless I walked around at night and met a few cool people.

Tuesday night I was walking on the beach and I spot a fire in the distance. I decide to check it out and I find a group of about 10 people sitting around a campfire and having a good time. I approach and introduce myself. There were 2 HB 8's, a group of 4 guys (they were in a country band), and another group of 4 with a couple HB6's and 2 guys. They turn out to be a pretty friendly group and we start talking about where we're from and other such things. I was having a real hard time breaking into the group dynamic and contributing to the conversation, but I did talk to one of the HB6's and manage to #close her at the end of the night handing my phone to her and telling her to put her number in. More people showed up throughout the night, but I couldn't get into the convo.

The next night I went back and the bonfire was back on again this time there were the same people and some extras so I say hey and plop myself down next to an HB5 and her friend. I introduce myself and make small talk. HB5 seems into me so I try some teasing about how she likes Justin Bieber and how I can't be her friend anymore because she likes him. Then I say as long as she doesn't make me listen to him we can be friends. Show her the Google Sky Map App with a little arm over the shoulders kino and after that in a lull in the conversation I run the Cube on her with moderate success. I decide to leave on a high note and number closed her the same as the last girl and left with a hug.

The next day I play it cool and relax around the beach do my own thing and wait for her to text me she does around midday and we agree to meet up later that night.

Fast forward to later that night I meet her and her cousin by the pool and hang out for about a half hour before the pool closes and went up to her family's room to hang out there and we're cut short because I gotta bring my cousins back up to our room thanks to an approaching storm. After that I braved the storm met back up with her on her balcony, we talked for a while and I knew my kino was lacking so I got her to stand up with me and look out at the storm. After a little kino and some marveling at the storm I pulled her close and initiated some sloppy makeout fun. After that tried to go further by putting my hand down her pants, but she wasn't going for it. So I tried 2 steps forward and 1 step back, but even when I reinitiated she still didn't wanna go farther even when I tried the make objections yourself method by whispering in her ear, "We shouldn't be doing this." She said, "I know.", but she still wouldn't let me get any further.

That's the end of my story and it's a lot longer than I expected it to be so I'll try to sum it up with a TL;DR.

TL;DR: I joined a bonfire on the beach. Had problems breaking into the group dynamics, but interacted fairly well on an individual basis. A few nights later I met up with HB5 and couldn't conquer LMR and get past makeout.
