I’m going solo as usual but this time really decide to befriend everyone. Normally, this isn’t even required because I’m going to get a girl regardless. But I want to practice being able to befriend people in solo mode not just my targets.

I can go into all the details but I won’t. What I will say is that if you are confident you can just walk up to anybody and it will be fine. A few blowouts here and there but this is generally a problem with the receiver and not you. Girls/men can have a pissy attitude and there is nothing you can do. Any group that makes it awkward did it themselves.

I used to think I was doing something wrong but having now reached a sufficiently advanced level I can conclusively say that people make it awkward because they are awkward people or in a shitty mood. I can do 10 sets with the same bantor and inevitably 1 of them will tell me to fuck off. Was there any difference on my end? No. Only the mood of the receiver was different.

Anyways, I open and dance with tons of sets. As usual, I plug salsa here and learning to dance. It’s the greatest tool in the tool bag. It’s funny because if I approach a 5 set of hot girls, the initial response is either, “hell yeah, party!’ or “who the fuck are you! Get out”. I can defuse the latter by just doing a couple dance moves which shows that I am a trained dancer. This disarms the situation because they see that you like to dance and are not trying to get in their pants (little do they know!). It also adds value because they want to be around the cool dancer.

Going to a dance club and not being somewhat proficient in dancing is retarded. You don’t need dancing to pick up girls (other than a shuffle step) but you need it to really enjoy the music and the experience.

Protip: If you go to grab the girls hand or approach for a dance and she gets squeamish, you can just say "merengue, merengue" and start doing merengue steps (super easy, you can probably learn it in an hour even if you've never danced).

Once again I prove that opening up tons of sets and making friends is mostly for not because in the end of the day it’s not going to matter. I make a few passes around the dance floor throughout the night. Just dancing a bit, moving, dancing some more, moving, etc. The idea is just to get people familiarized to you and, of course, scoping out the talent and choosing your target. In one pass I see a 3 set (1 guy, 2girls; the golden ratio) and start dancing with one. She dances a bit and literally shoves her friend at me and goes back to what is her boyfriend (oops). The friend is cute HB6 (a little chubby so I give her a 6 because 7+ means the girl is in shape in my book) so I dance with her. She loves me and gets my number and email. But, I am not satisfied so I do the, “I need a break ” and bail.

It’s 12:00 ish and I know it’s time to act (golden hour!). So I start looking for receptive hot girls. Unfortunately I can’t find any. Damn, fuglies out in full force. Cougars are on my stick but I’m not interested. Then, this HB7 that has a guy attached crashes into me and says “save me!” She embraces me and I rotate around to box out the guy and move a few yards but he is in pursuit. So, I we continue moving til he gets the point. I hate AMOG’ing but in this case she did it so I don’t feel bad helping her. I was not vulturing in on his game, she was vulturing in on me.

Then I dance a bit and kiss her. I did something different this time. I did not go for the sloppy make out. In fact, I would just kiss her for like 5 seconds and then back off to dancing next to each other. Every now and then I’d go in again. Then I pulled away. After a few of these and dancing meekly (rather than having my way with her as I usually do) I moved her to the bar and bought her a drink. We then went outside and I went into comfort mode. We exchanged numbers and I found tons of common ground. She had to go with party bus. Damn 22 years old. For an old fart like myself, that’s like a fine wine. Happy I got to make out with her and enjoy her energy. We'll see how this less aggressive approach works out and if the day2 rate increases.

Thoughts:

-Club game should be divided in sober/drunk game. If the girl has been drinking it’s an entirely different process than with a sober one. Sober game lasts until 11:30 ish. Here I usually talk to everyone to the social proof up and some DHV. Later when they get wild they usually recognize me and it’s like we’re long lost friends. It can make for killer game. This is crux. Most of the times I’ll get the girl that I quickly met in the beginning. Talking too much can be a detriment, I think. Go in, have fun, and bail. Then catch them on the dance floor later on.

-I have to focus on flirting rather than just being fun in the sober game. I feel like I’m not capitalizing on the work I’m doing because though the girls like me and laugh a lot, I’m not being sexual enough. Staying too long in set and wearing out ending up in friendzone. Attraction needs a bit of mystery at least in my case. Less is more.

-This guy blocked me big time from a HB8. He just physically got between me and her. She was totally into me and wanted to ditch him but he prevented it physically. Good move. Best AMOG destroyer is always physically box out when on dance floor. I use it and it gets used against me.

-My dick filtered out a girl. She started grinding and when she felt my boner, she bailed. Saved me time.

-Need to be more aggressive. I tend to pussy out a bit when I should really push harder.

-Don't dip girls. They either love it or fucking freak out and leave. Lost a couple good ones last two outings. Field tested. Best to leave dipping for the salsa club or after the make out I suppose.

-Lately girls have been stumbling into me. I’m still approaching like crazy but it seems the theme is that they find me… need to keep trucking and push harder on getting the ones I really, really want rather than whatever is available.

Update: HB6 that I ditched texted me out of the blue. She even saw me making out with the HB7 girl in the club and wouldn't even look at me after the other girl had left. She just added me to facebook and HB7 girl is MIA all day. No response to txt. You can't make this up... hahaha. Game everything because you never know what will end up happening.
