During the school year, most of the dates I planned were kind of shit. I was getting many numbers and didn’t have a lot of free time. My strategy was to just invite girls out for ice cream and then lead them back to my place. It almost never “worked”, I think the girls got uncomfortable.

But now it’s the holidays, and I’m at home in a bigger city. I got a girls number a week ago, and went on a date. I planned a date that was more fun than usual; we got food, then went to a bar/arcade, then went to a bar with a bunch of couches and chilled and talked. It started slightly awkward when we got food, but by the time we got to the last bar, she was having a lot of fun. We made out a lot and then had sex in my car, since we are both staying with parents for the holidays.

I think if I had tried to have sex with her right after we got food, it would have been awkward. I tried to have 3 fun, one hour activities (like Mark Manson talks about), and that seemed to lead to a much better experience overall. If you and the girl are already having a lot of fun, making things sexual is pretty effortless.
