So this is the second date with the same girl mentioned in my FR from this past Monday:

All in all I had a good time, but truthfully I'm a little frustrated.

This is the third time I've seen this girl, counting our fairly brief initial meeting. We get along well, fair amount of stuff to talk about, pretty easy interaction, and she seems very into me.

So we meet up around 10pm in a different neighborhood than the last couple times, just because she was out with people from work and I was already nearby there. Meet her at the bar, make fun of her for the fact that she's carrying a painting, we have a fairly in-depth conversation about art and likes and dislikes, and then make fun of a few of the goofier looking bar patrons, etc. She's got her hand on mine the whole time without me doing anything, and at one silent point I just duck in for a quick kiss to get it out of the way. We'd made out a ton on the last date, but I wanted to break the ice early again to avoid any awkwardness.

So after one drink I tell her I'll give her a ride back to the neighborhood she lives in, which is also sort of on my way home. I'm parked right there, good logistics, I've got a nice car, etc. We drop by her place, her roommate is home (whom I've met), and she's friendly but very obviously wants to get in and get out, no lingering. The instant we're back out the door she's on me again, making out, lots of touching, etc.

We drive 5 mins to a bar, I get us past the line since I know the bouncer, etc. DHV. It's a rooftop bar, we get some drinks and are leaning up against a wall, somewhat removed from the scene. She's ALL OVER ME, rubbing her leg on mine, grabbing my ass, grabbing the back of my head and making out with me, we're drawing stares, etc. At one point a couple of my friends spot me from across the bar, come over with girls they've met, I do introductions, everyone is having a good time, more DHV, etc.

I want to stress here that the PDA was initiated almost entirely by HER. I wasn't pushing her away of course, but I was definitely letting her be the aggressor MOST of the time, as I'd sort of taken that role last time and I wanted to sit back and be aloof (i.e. push/pull).

We get through a couple drinks like this and then I ask her if she wants to get out of there, and she makes some remark about walking home (it's about a mile). I tell her there's no way I'm letting her walk home alone, she fights me on it, etc. She ends up walking out of the bar, I unfortunately followed her (DLV lol), but she stops and says she has to walk home now, etc.

I text her like "get home safe, had fun", and I get "Night" back.

I'm a little mystified, and I'm not sure what to make of it. She's pretty obviously into me, I made joking references to sex and she responded very aggressively/positively each time. I don't know if she sees me as LTR material and doesn't want to give it up quickly, or if she just doesn't give it up quickly in general, or doesn't want to have a late weeknight, or what.

It was a good time, I'd see her again, but if we have a third date with no further closing, it'll be the last one.
