I think you did okay here. It's certainly nothing to beat yourself up about, man. Just remember: nothing's real, everything's a game.

Hell, you can even use not knowing what to say as something to say. Big smiles help here. "Oh man, do you ever get that thing where your mind just completely blanks? It just happened to me. Quick, say something funny about dogs! It's not working! This conversation is crashing! Augh it's terrible!"

The best conversation I had was where I went over and sat down with some random girl and said 'Hey, those people are annoying, so I'm going to sit here and pretend I know you from way back. Play along. HEEEY! I haven't seen you since high school! Remember the guy at the place that time! Dude that was great!" It was a whole fake conversation, but it was fun and joking the whole time.

Just never take anything seriously. We've all had those nights where you just feel 'off', and it's fine for that to happen. Not fun, but fine. Keep your spirits up, and remember: EYE CONTACT, BODY LANGUAGE, and SMILING.

My technique is simple: I don't give myself enough time to worry. When I approach I do zero preparation. By the time I'm worried about what to say I'm already halfway through "hello". I think it could be called "diving into the deep end". It is the only way that works for me.

I think my subconscious brain saves me. Like a reflex reaction it just starts vomiting bullshit. People here say "what you say" doesn't matter and that is the truth. If the girl wants to be opened you could be talking about the weather for all it matters. If she doesn't want to be opened by you it won't matter if you are telling her about how you are a fireman that saves kittens from burning buildings.

I was surprised that it just works. The more I do it the better I get. Having a memory of 10-15 topics in the back of your head helps too.

Have you watched all the popular PUA videos? Transformations, blueprint, the game, etc. You want to start there.

Sometimes no matter what you do it doesn't work out. How you said 'tell her to come here' may have mattered. maybe not, who knows. You could have gone and found them. Nothing wrong with that if your confidence in yourself is strong. Walk up, "Oh my gosh, you totally are cute." and off you go. You don't need to control the frame 100% all the time. Just be yourself and grab the frame back after ceding a bit to get it going.

You did great, don't beat yourself up! Even when you do everything right, something things don't work out.

Take comfort in the fact that the friend was probably ugly. And her lack of confidence means that she's probably a bad lay.
