Here i am for my first post and FR on seddit. I am not so good to tell the night cause english is not my native language but i'll try!

So i met this girl one night at a birthday party and she caught my attention immediatly. I instantly approached her and i used the excuse of "all the other people are couples and stay by themself" to hang out with her all the night. Everything seemed to go very weel and when it was time to go i asked for her number and she happily gave it to me. Immediatly i texted back with a joke (something i told her before about a fake number and stuff) and thanked her for the good night i spent. A couple of days later i texted her and we managed to set up a date a week later cause we are a lot busy with exams at university.

So, tonight i went to this date and i am writing this as soon as i came back home. We started at a good aperitif bar and we ate and drink something. But here start the bad decisions i made: i agreed to go to a bar that has only the tables where you can sit one in front of the other. That was bad in my opinion cause i couldn't really start kino and get close to her phisically. Conversations were good and we had a good time. I then decided to change place and go to a good pub suggested by her and that's when the things start to get strange. As you know, there are 4 major topics to strictly avoid on a date: religion, politics, drugs and ex boyfriend/girlfriend. Well she touched every single one of them and as you can expect is hard to agree on every one of them. Conversation started to get boring (on my point of view) cause 1. she kept talking and interrupting me without even letting me finish my sentences and 2. i tried every time to change topic when she started to talk about the "risky one" but she immediatly came back on them as soon as i let her answer me. That obviously led to a bad conversation and all my efforts to keep it wnjoyable and good for a first date were vane.

Well fast forward a couple of hours and i brought her home. I tried to kiss her because why not but as expected she rejected me. Strangely at the end i was happier that she rejected me because how the night went. I know i just could have said goodbye to her without going for the kiss but i honestly like her quite a lot phisically and i wanted to give it a chance but without expecting too much. I really tried my best to apply all the knowledge i learnt here on seddit, but that night wasn't just meant to be.
