I'm gonna keep this short.

I did 10 sets last night, some of them really short (In; Open; Gauge mood; Out), 2 fairly long. A pattern is starting to emerge.

One 2-set I was in for maybe 20 minutes I was about to push for the number, but didn't get it through wrong wording and too high level of uncomfortability.

This is sort of how it went:

Enter; Open (Canned Who Lies More. It kinda happened by default :P); Two little lock-in routines, which was interesting. At this point target gave me some IOI's. Shoulda ended attraction right there.

Then went into a cold-read, saying: 'you know, I could tell you things about you that are very deep, but that are probably true for everyone.' Her eyes lit up like a 5-year old's, and she went: 'Really?! Show me!' So I did. She reacted positively. I explained: "see, this is interesting; I told you this was going to be bullcrap, yet you still immediately started taking it seriously."

At this point, obstacle wanted to be cold-read too, but, trying not to fall into dancing-monkey-mode, I declined. Fluffed a bit, then, for some FUCKING reason, went into another cold-read about their eyes. I don't know when exactly, but around this time, I think, something went wrong that killed the vibe.

A friend later went in and asked them what I did, and, apparently, I was 'weird'. This isn't surprising, as I did all the cold-reading etc etc, and they obviously loved that (at least the first part...).

I have some suspicions about why the vibe had to die, since there is a n emerging of patterns here ("I love it when they say the name of the movie in the movie!")

  1. I didn't escalate.

  2. I need to learn to calibrate better, so that things like the over-DHV there and the sudden discomfort don't happen. I am not sure, but do you guys think this may be a lack of frame?

  3. I need to be more sexual. Thanks Jeffy, and Thanks Curveball.

This feels like I'm at the brink of discovery. Time to sargemore.
