so i did my first solo run ever tonight. got to a bar earlyish, around 7. ordered a beer and some quick eats. started chatting up the two cute bardenders.

we talk about the olympics for a bit, i tease them about loving the tiny bathingsuits the divers have on and say i have the same suit at home.

no one else comes in for a bit, i notice them having a convo on the side. they come back my way so i say oh, complaining about men im sure?

ofc they were. the one girl had 2 guys get her number and never call her. i say thats a shame, im totally going to call you. she laughs but i dont care, we continue the banter.

a drink later people come in. i failed and didnt start talking up other people enough. they come back to talk to me, mentioning how one of the guys is capricorn so they have to make the first move.

i say woah woah, lets settle this right now by you giving me your number. they eat it up, but no number. they serve a few people and i tell the hb7 that if a guy wanted to chill, he would. she should hang out with me (giving her the biggest i want to fuck you eyes i can). she says im totally going to hang out with you.

i say good, how are we going to make that happen. she gives me her twitter. ah well.

i finish up and make my way out, and ask the other girl if she would like to get together sometime. she says she has a bf of 3 years, i complement it and head on my way.

i should have talked up other groups, but this was a good step and its been a while. i feel pretty good. any suggestions are welcomed.
