Been a lurker on Seddit ever since my 4 year relationship ended in the beginning of summer. Any feedback would be greatly appricated.

To give some background, i gained 40 pounds in those 4 years and completely lost my sence of swagger I had before the relationship.

Fast Forward to this month, lost about 35 pounds, and went on a trip to Vegas with some close friends. Thought I use the skills i picked up on Seddit to see how they work out.

Went to a club called chateau. Most of the women there seemed to be with there BF's, a few had wedding rings. Saw a girl sitting by hearself, thought this is a good as time as any to say whatsup. Started talk to her, got her to the dance floor, later asked her what she did and she said she was a stripper. Walked away at that moment.

Second day went to a pool party. grabbed a drink for the bar and hit the dance floor. 2 girls approached us, one whos birthday (Lets call her B) it was and started dancing with our group. They left a few minutes later. After one of my friends approached another group of girls. And he started dancing with one of them. I approached one of the girls (call her X) and used a pickup line suggested on this subreddit. Sparked a conversation, started dancing, got a few shots, this is when it got real heavy. Started making out/dancing for the rest of the duration of the pool party. Even had my hand in X's paints at one point. Found out later that night that shes going to the same club as me, awsome, its a done deal then. Her group of friends left as the party was winding down. My friends where still there and I spotted B. She mentioned she was going to a different club that night and that I should come. I said "Busy with other plans, but maybe if you give me a kiss ill reconsider" bam that worked, started making out for a few minutes :). Feeling good about all the action I just got I left feeling confident that this night is going to be good.

Later that night the met up with X her group met our group joined us. But got a completly diffrent vibe from her. She wasent as playful, looked distracted and didnt want to hold a conversation with me anymore. Thats fine, started talking to a completly diffrent group of girls. One of them was very attractive, started talk to her more in depth (lets call her Y), took her away from her friend to grabed a drink, starting kissing her, dancing, talking pictures. But at the end of the night she left with her girl friends.

One of my friends who was at the pool party and saw us dancing/making out approched X and ask her why she wasent talking to me anymore. X told my friend shes mad at me because I started talking to Y. Only reason I started talking to Y in the first place was because she wasent being as receptive. Instead I saw her talking with another friend of mine. Approched her and said whatsup with you telling my friend your mad at me? She denied it and said she wasent mad at all, only there to have a good time. I said awsome, tried talking to her again, but with no successes.

Would love to get some feedback on what improvements I could make going forward. I noticed I have the guts to approch, talk, kiss and get sexual with. But cant close the deal.
