Monday/Tuesday Nothing interesting. I didn't really get to talk to many women.

Wednesday This is the day of my #-close with the failure. I was at the pool ready to do one of my swims that I did for training. There were swim lessons going on for little kids and all but two lanes were open for lap swim. one lane had 2 people already in it. However, the other one only had 1 and from what I could tell (at that moment) she wasn't anything much. So I decide to hop into that lane and start swimming. After awhile, it becomes pretty clear that I'm the superior swimmer and we exchange a few words and I ask if she wants to circle swim (for non-swimmers, it is where you swim up the right side of the lane and at the wall turn around and still swim up the right side), confused she asked and I explained and she said Ok with a smile. So we continue to swim and eventually she stops. I expected her to get out and be on her way, but she stayed there for about 6 more of my laps so I decided to end the swim a bit early (I was supposed to swim for 17 straight minutes but I cut it off at about 15) to go and have a chat. I opened with "well if you're done swimming maybe you should get out?" with a chuckle in my voice. from there we talked. I found out she went to my high school and we talked about what she was doing now, how she looked kind of familiar etc. We only talked for about 10 min and then she said she had to leave. So while she was hopping out, she gave me her name and I gave her mine, then I asked if she would like to get a coffee or lunch sometime. She agreed and I said "since I don't have a way to contact you, maybe you can give me your number?" she agreed and I went and grabbed my phone from the locker room and handed it to her to enter her number. So she had never used a smartphone so I just told her to enter it into the phone option and she just plugged in her number. In my failure to finally enter into my contacts I accidentally exited out of the phone option and lost it. So I rushed home and decided to add her on facebook. Probably a stupid idea, but only thing I could think of at the time. I messaged her apologizing and explaining the situation and I'm still waiting to hear back. Well if it doesn't work out, oh well, but hopefully I'll see her again this week.

The rest of the week was pretty uneventful. However, Yesterday I did talk to a worker at Q'doba that I go to every weekend. She seemed pretty nice and I think I'll try and #-close it next week.
