So I went and had lunch with my kids and their mother (ex) the other day for three hours. Part of that was the long car ride to get one of the kids from grandmas house.

I was crackin jokes and being confident and she was laughing her ass off.

We had to stop for a train so I broke out the thumb wars game to which i teased her that her finger nail polish wasnt regulatory grade polish because it was slippery. Then after that I was thinking ok good enough and then SHE broke out the rock paper sissors game to which 8 times out of ten we matched up perfectly. She laughed about that and said it was weird and I said yup that's why we had kids together.

I then was teasing that I would pick her nose (an old thing we used to do because to me that shows her comfort with me... sure it's weird but hey...) and so she moves forward to which i say ick and then stuff my finger in her mouth. She then gags and she says I was going to eat it haha. I said something about testing her oil but that she was too excited for it.

Then at some point down the road I tickled her neck like I used to because she freaks out and sounds like a screech like a monkey and that shit is hilarious. So she tries tickling me and then stops herself and tells me she will wait till im not driving. Then as I start driving down the interstate she says shes going to do it and so I tease her like this... "yea tickling me going 30 miles an hour is dangerous cause we end up in a corn field... il just wait till we are driving down the interstate instead" to which she laughs her ass off.

She then is looking through the car and says that i looked like I cleaned everything of hers out even the picture of her she left in the glovebox of herself for me... she checks and finds its gone.

She says something about almost breaking a record together for our long term relationships in terms of length of time.

We end up at mcdonalds to eat as planned and the kids are playing in the playhouse. (i did pay) She goes in to help the kids climb the huge ladder steps because my youngest isnt old enough and needs a little boost. Shes looking at me all the time and smiling and sparkling eyes like she wants something. She then comes out and says that I should have joined them in there.

She had gone to the bathroom and I was watching the kids play and she comes back and im checking my phone for a text I had and she comes up and plays with my hair and laughs a little and said I need a haircut.

She keeps trying to trip me up with things so i keep passing those shit tests with flying colors.

Amplyfy and tease, ignore, or agree quickly and move onto something better.

At one point she had said yea im not sure what i was thinking because she took something i said badly and i teased her and she felt goofy for saying it. I didn't make her feel bad for it though I just lightened the mood.

She at one point slipped up and said something about our relationship and it sounded as if we were still together. She caught herself and was appologetic and hoped i wasnt upset that she said it. (freudian slip? Maybe that means she wishes it wasn't over?)

She moves in close a few times when she is positive that she is rubbing her giant tits against me. It seemed as if she was doing a few things to see if she could get a rise out of me in terms of figuring out if i was still interested in her.

The funny thing is when I dropped her off before taking the kids up to visit for the weekend is she said to drop her down the street so her family wouldn't start rumors about her and me. Her family likes to do that kind of shit. So I do understand that it would put negative pressure on her. She probably wants to make her own decisions without being bugged.

I am unsure of how to setup another date where it can be just the two of us. We are 1.5 hours apart currently because she lives with family right now. The kids are another logistic as well.

So I am unsure if asking her to come up for the weekend with the kids is a huge thing to go for or if I should just get a room down there for a night and take her out and have her family watch the kids while we go out to a movie and dinner and shit.
