I've posted this one story a few times, to no avail and no Karma but now I've got more of a story to share:

To begin, I've lurked on this sub for a while to learn ways to improve myself and my confidence. The biggest thing here is confidence, I've started walking a little taller and when meeting women or even just passing by making eye contact never being the first to look away. These two things alone have helped my game tremendously.

[FR#1] Dinner and Bowling. K-Close. A random girl from the class I was headed to saw that I had my hands full and held the door for me (she was a just a little ways away as I approached the door to the building). Obviously, I said thank you for holding the door for me. It could have stopped there but then I noticed how cute she was (redhead HB8). So I said something friendly along the lines of, "hey, you know your hair matches your shirt". She laughed and said 'thank you, and you're right'. Then she asked if I was in her class just to be certain she knew of me and I said yes of course and it led to a nice 30 second conversation as we walked up the stairs to class.

The last thing I said to her before class was "that guy up there has the same color shirt as you"

she replied, 'oh yeah? well maybe he and I should be friends?'

I replied in a joking way, "Maybe, I guess I'm not cool enough for you"

After class we talked again about our mutual interest in the show Breaking Bad for a couple minutes and then we parted our separate ways and I said "see you on Tuesday". The next time I saw her I invited her to see my friend and I play music at an outdoor festival, she skipped class to come see us and this led to me asking her out for the approaching weekend. We ended up going to dinner at a nice local place and then out to bowl after that. During the date I ended up doing a spontaneous 'sweep her off her feet' move and carried her around for a bit escalating the physical contact between us as well as helping teach her to bowl by touching her waist gently to help line her up better. The night ended with us sitting in my car listening to music and a few kisses goodnight. I have since continued to talk to her and have a prospective relationship.

[FR#2] A big local music festival was going on last Saturday and I invited the girl from [FR#1] to come along. We had plans to go yet things came up and she was unable to accompany me. I was bummed, seeing as we had made plans but rather than staying down about the situation I headed there by myself and got over it. When I arrived there were many people there, friends and people in other bands that I knew so I had no trouble finding people to talk with. Along came two girls: one was an HB8 that I had many mutual friends with but had never met in person before, and the other was an HB9 that I had never known until that night. I begin to talk with HB8, getting to learn about her and what not and pay no attention to HB9. Our favorite local band ends up taking the stage and soon everyone forms a crowd around the stage and begins dancing. I danced with both HB8 and HB9 that night and ended up learning quite a bit about each of them. I was able to get the phone number of HB8 and recently got in touch with HB9. I realize that this may not seem like much but I am still a beginner and talking to two people I really did not know all that well was a huge step for me and it ended up yielding pretty good results. These leads may not pan out but that's okay, I've found that I no longer need to find validation from a woman and that just being yourself honestly is the best policy.
