I'm your average Asian guy, about 5'8 and slim so my confidence is not that high but ever since I've been lurking around this subreddit I have began to re-imagine myself. To someone confident, outgoing, assertive, and fun to be around so now that you know some things about me here's what happened.

Just finished my Spanish class and was cutting through the Planetarium to get to the school cafe. In the lobby there are tables and chairs where students can lounge around and that's where I saw this cute Asian, not sure what to rate her but she was attractive and cute. Frankly speaking I was about to turn back to my old self and kept going past her but not today! I sat down about a table away from hers and between us was another black student. She seemed busy working on her laptop. I told myself "Don't be a bitch, go say hi!" and before I knew it, I was asking her for directions to the cafeteria. As she was telling me the directions I immediately cut her off and told her that I was just kidding and that I wanted to say hi to her since she was cute. From there we go to talking about what our majors where, how she was a senior trying to get into med school, and what she does for a living. I kept eye contact with her and smiling as much as I can and she looked like she was enjoying talking to me. I asked her if she played League of Legends and she said no but her friends does. She wanted to learn and I told her that I could teach her. Told her to show me her hands, I held it for a bit, examining it, and said that "Yeah, you have the hands to get good at the game." From here, I tried to get her number but she said doesn't have one right now because she dropped it. I then asked for her Facebook but to no avail, instead I got her yahoo email instead. Looks like this was a lost cause I thought so I started to leave, told her that I gotta get going and perhaps we could see each other sometime. As I was about to leave, she asked me "Do you still need directions?" and I replied "Nah, I just needed that to talk to you"

What do you guys think? Any suggestions, tip, improvements I could use? I thought that I should have done more kino but it nerve wrecking that I was scrambling for the right words to say.
